Dalia’s POV

“Ya boy’s so fine..” Nurse Alysha cooed at the pictures of my baby given to me. It is a boy, so the scan says. Emily won the Aunty Em lottery a long time ago. I just didn’t see the need to tell her and for a moment, I wondered why I didn’t tell anyone I know too. Not even Emily. I guess I was too caught up in the circumstances surrounding his coming to my life.

I raise my head up. “Nurse, can you keep this in my bag?” I hand her the photos but she looks at me weirdly before collecting them.

“I can see some tears in ya eyes. Hope you feeling well?” she asked with a frown in her face. I could only see her mouth moving all over the place due to her southern accent but I couldn’t hear her.

“What?” I raise an eyebrow at her stance. She was standing akimbo. Oh,

“You aren't feeling well. I’ma call Dr. Ryan. Be right back.” She was about to leave.
