"Amanah! We're going to be late if you take longer!" Miall shouted from downstairs, and I groaned, fixing my hair. "They're going there for us anyway. So how can we be late!" I shouted back as I exited the bathroom and made my way downstairs. "Because they have other things to do, and there's a program," he said softly as he bobbed Kye around in his arms. "Everyone wants to know the baby's gender; could they really do it with us? And besides, why would anyone accept an invitation if they don't plan on being there the whole day?" I reasoned as I stood in front of him. "Don't you agree?" I asked, taking his silence as an agreement. I turned my focus on Kye, who was dressed in a cute white milk dungaree. Miall pulled my face closer to his and sucked my bottom lip catching me by surprise. I gasped and giggled, thinking this would be an innocent kiss just to get rid of the gooey sticky centre. However, Miall had other plans. Miall licked my bottom lip softly, grazing my lip with his teeth; once I realised his intentions, I slid my hand between our faces and pushed him away. "That's enough," I laughed, and he pressed another kiss on my temple and stared at me in silence for a second before pressing more kisses all over my face. Amanah stared at me with her arms crossed over her chest. I looked at her out of the side of my eye and copied her actions. She's been staring hard at me since Malakhi left after his big entrance, which I think was useless, but I guess he had to barge in here and pretend to be concerned when we both know he didn't really care about what happened. I pouted my lips and sat down on my chair, and she tilted her head, clearly offended that I'm choosing not to say anything about Drystan's death. Honestly, I am relieved that whoever killed him helped us immensely, but now I'm stuck trying to find a murderer in my pack, so not good. "So you're not going to say anything?"
