Chapter 19: Mansion

Anderson suggested that Athena should sit in the back seat before they entered the mansion to ensure her safety from the guard. As Athena was about to open the door, Anderson handed her a hooded jacket from the front seat. Athena entered the back seat and put it on. Anderson then stepped on the gas and drove to the entrance without hesitation. He handed his card to the guard and explained that he needed to speak with Mr. Weltons. Athena covered her face with the hood and hid behind the seat. The guard recognized Anderson and opened the gate. As they passed, Athena leaned backward.

"You know, I don't need to do that," Athena said.

"What?"

"To hide. I'm sure he can recognize me as Mr. Weltons' only daughter."

"It's better to be careful."

"Pull over right there."

"It's quite far from the entrance hall," Anderson replied as he stopped.

"It's better to be careful." Athena insisted before getting out of the car.

"Okay, just as I said." Anderson followed her.
