Chapter 3

"You may now kiss your bride" as our eyes met, I shifted away my gaze and glared to him second time again. He smirk and slowly coming toward me. Those mesmerizing green eyes were giving me uncomfortable gesture right now.

He raise my veil and slowly his face coming to me. Naramdaman ko ang kanyang hininga sa aking pisngi. All the people now are shouting, I was so stun in my situation. He was about to kiss my lips when I avoided his gaze and tilt my head for him to directly kiss my cheeks. Ano siya sinuswerte?

I saw how the peoples reaction turn in disappoinment. I secretly rolled my eyes, but it just happened so fast when this man held my face and kiss me! I was about to push him when he curl his arm around my waist and pull me more closer to him.

Higit ko ang hininga ko dahil sa ginawa niya, but with a second later I slowly close my eyes feeling the incredible sensation he's doing to me. How he occupied my lips and make me feel on wanting more. Sh-t seriously? What is happening to me!

He then let go of me and held my hand. We face the crowd and now my whole body shiver because of the amount of people were watching. Bakit mas lalo silang dumami ngayon? In a moment a flash of camera did have my attention.

Napaawang ang labi ko at umiwas ng tingin. After the wedding ended. I excuse myself and go in the bathroom pero hindi ko ginawa, I use that chance to escape. Nagtungo ako sa likod kong saan ako binihisan kanina and thank god kasi wala nang tao rito. Maybe they're all busy attending and going to the wedding reception.

Tinanggal ko ang gown na suot ko and it takes me 10 minutes in doing it. Nakita ko ang dati kong damit kanina na nakatupi sa ibabaw ng lamesa at mabilis na sinuot ito. After everything was settled bumalik ako sa hotel namin ni Ellie, and habang naglalakad hindi ko lubos maisip na pumayag akong makasal! Because of sympathy I sacrificed my self in doing such unimaginable things.

Pumasok ako sa room namin at naabutan kong wala na roon si Ellie. I quickly pack my things. Hindi na ako pwedeng magtagal dito, maraming mga tao kanina sa venue at alam ko ang iba ay pwedeng nakacheck-in sa hotel na ito. Mauuna na akong umuwi sa manila, tatawagan ko na lang si Elli kapag nakauwi na ako. Kong ngayon ako magpapaalam, alam kong bubusisihin niya ang lahat.

And I don't want her to know that I involve myself and pretend to be a bride of a stranger. Ang pangit pakinggan! Something else hindi niya ako papayagang umuwi kapag nagpaalam ako sa kanya ng personal. I don't know where she is but I know she went to the wedding, hopefully I'm indeed lucky.

Wala akong maisip na pwedeng sabihin sa kanya kong bakit ako umalis kaagad. Mariin akong pumikit at bumuntong hininga. Tumayo ako at pumunta sa kusina. Nagsalin ako ng isang basong tubig para makalmahin ang sarili, ano ba nag pinasok kong problema!

Umiling ako, tapos na. I make sure na hindi na kami magkikita ulit. Walang rason para maglandas ang mundo namin. Hence, I hate what he just told me, wala siyang utang na loob.

Pagkatapos kong magshower. I sent an email to my secretary that my leave is cancel at papasok ako bukas.

She send all my appointments at mga meeting na kailangan kong attendan bukas. At the age of 21 I started to build my own company, as I remember that time sobrang daming mga trials ang challenges. I almost risk everything and I have to maintain and build a higher ground para sa business ko.

Hindi madali sa akin magumpisa. I encountered a lot of aggressive shareholders. Maraming din nag-invest na malalaking kompanya, and it's all fake inquiries. They don't deal as what I said, as they have given the quantity of shares they have. They pull it immediately when they encountered a big company. So unfair.

So that's why I decided to have an independent and private company. Yeah, being handled by me. I do have shareholder but not go mainly in public. Also Staying private means my company does not have to answer to its public shareholders or choose different members for the board of directors. A quickly understood, somehow it's difficult to raise money at the beginning but when you're persistent to work hard. It will go as you wish, now my company have my satisfaction.

Well I forgot to tell, my product is wine. I do selling different wine flavors. Such as Strawberry, Banana, Papaya, Bugnay and other fruit. We do invented our product to get the customers real desire and we make sure that this will be their craving.

Somehow thinking about what I suffered for the past year is worth it now. Maraming mga nangyari. I can't also imagine that I make it.

Twenty na ang branches ng company ko, I do have a little business such as internet cafe, mall, groceries, and a three villa. Pero nasa kamay ng kapatid ko ngayon ang pagpapatakbo sa villa.

I stretch my arms at nahiga sa kama. Kinuha ko ang remote at nilagay sa number two ang aircon.

Cassius P.O.V

"Bro, seriously?" I glared to Max at tinapon sa kanya ang baso.

"One more word coming from you, you'll find yourself outside this village" he grab the liquor at nagsalin sa kanyang baso. I gave him a death glare.

"But honestly, your wedding went well. Ang ganda ng bride mo" what he said was right. That woman is definitely a living goddess. I'm so confused where mom did find her to be the pretend bride.

"You leave the wedding reception so early, sayang madami pa namang mga chix doon taga ibang bansa" he chuckled. What a casanova.

"What's the purpose of wedding reception when the bride is not there?" I respond. He then give me a smirk and tap my shoulder.

"Well may point ka naman. Pero what do you think? Maybe malabo nang magkita kayo" he said like he was so sure about it. Lets see.

I straighly drink the liquor and stand up.

"Fix everything, I don't want a messy place Max" I saw how his face became problematic but in the end he do what I said.

Narinig ko pa ang pagmamaktol nito. I went upstairs to take a shower. Those soft lips, I still felt it in mine. F-ck!

I was enchanted.

I wonder, where is she now. Somehow I didn't not see that coming. I never expect her to be my bride

Hannah P.O.V

"Okay, what about Mr. Jackson. Is he available right now? Please do contact him" hawak ko ang schedule ko ngayong araw. Kahit na humiga ako buong araw kaiisip sa nangyari kapahon wala rin namang magbabago, it was done. I need to back with my works.

"Noted Miss" my secretary response. I nodded. Papasok na kami ngayon sa loob ng elevator.

"What about Mrs. Donovan?" she asked. Inalala ko kong may surname na donovan akong nabasa kagabi pero wala. A new one.

"Oh I forgot to send the current email–" I cut her.

"Explain now, ayokong magbasa nang mga emails mamaya. Tell me her background and such"

"Okay po Miss. She is Mrs. Franchesca Donovan Mitchell 61 years old. A private lawyer. Living at Street 4 Sonia's Subdivision. Have a 3 Children. Divorce siya sa una niyang asawa but she remarried again with Sandrius Mitchell" mitchell surname seems familiar to me.

"3:00 A.M. Magkikita po kayo sa Brintaca Cafe. I already have a reservation" biglang nag-init ang ulo ko. As far as I remembered, I haven't give my approval yet.

"Did I approve it?" I straighly talk. She was stun and about to utter a word but I stop her.

"Nextime Ms. Secretary. Ipaalam mo sa akin lahat bago ka magdesisyon" yumuko lang ito at tumango.

"My mistake. Ms. Hannah. It won't happen next time. Pasensiya na po"

"Better be" malamig na tugon ko.

She opened the door for me. Nandito na kami ngayon sa top floor where is my office destined to. I carefully sat down and felt the relaxation in my bone.

"Miss Hannah the meeting will start at 9 o'clock sharp" I raise my eyebrow.

"Seriously? Make it 8 o'clock" I said in frustration.

"Okay po Miss Hannah noted" I open my laptop and went to browse the name Cassius. The name where the one who did inspired me a lot. My attention diverted to a link, I rolled my eyes when I saw the title.

Ellie

"You woman!" she pointed at me. I glare to her and stood up.

"No, no. Hannah I'm kinda confused right now, bakit ka umalis kaagad? You're so kill joy!" she said in frustration, naupo siya sa couch at pagod na isinandal ang likod rito.

"You better explain and ready your ground" banta niya sa akin.

"Okay, I'll leave you for now" tamad na sagot ko at lumabas ng pinto. Another problem to handle.

"For the main income in this month, it's fairly good and enough. Hence the past month is not, we lost thousand of dollars–"

"Thousand of dollars? From our previous meeting last week, you'd never mention about the lost of funds! To the fact that this was only done and solve last month!" I raise my voice. Kaya pala, there is something unmanaged pero hindi ko lang alam kong saang department ito nanggaling.

"Miss Hannah, it should be–"

"I don't want to hear any fortification coming from all of you! Meeting dismissed!" sabi ko at naglakad palabas. I don't want to create any scandalous scene again with these tempered I'm carrying now. Kapag nagtagal pa ako roon, masisigawan ko lang sila. What a useless meeting!

"Good Morning, Miss Hannah"

"Good Morning ma'am"

Tango lang ang naisagot ko at naglakad palapit sa elevator when someone caught my attention outside. Through the tinted mirror I saw a kid crying, someone approach her but she refused.

I went to the exit, naglakad ako palapit sa bata at naupo para mapantayan siya "Hey, why are you crying" I softly ask. Ibinaba niya ang kamay niya na nakatakip sa mukha niya at pinakatitigan ako.

What a cute kid. She's wearing a blue dress with the pair of a blue sandals. I noticed all she's wearing are in a blue colors, like her headbands, hair clips and such.

"I'm lost Miss" she said directly to me.

"I know, sino kasama mo?" I asked.

"I'm with my uncle but because of my stubbornness, I went outside and got lost" she pouted. Her crystal blue eyes are so adorable!

"Like I'm talking to a young adult, well do you know where the place your in a while ago?" she nodded.

"What's name of that place?"

"Fiedels Soft Pumpkin"

"Okay I know that place–"

"Clera!" a baritone voice spoke from behind.

"Uncle!" she happily said and run to the person behind me. I stood up, hinarap ko ito and to my shock ay napaatras ako.

He slowly lowered his sunglasses and gave me a smirk.

"We've seen again, mi esposa"

(mi esposa is a Spanish word for 'my wife')
