Christian's Point of View,
I was about to go back to my mansion, But Ron stopped me and offered me to use his tent. I rejected it as I was not comfortable spending my night away from my mansion. But for Elizabeth, I did agree to his request. I wanted to spend at least a night near her.
I went into the tent. Ron shared a tent with one of his friends whose name I don't remember. I stood near the fire camp looking at Elizabeth's tent for a few minutes then moved towards Ron's tent. I laid down remembering today's event and how scared Elizabeth was when she asked about animals attacking at night.
I know nothing like that is going to happen. It is my territory, and nobody dares to trespass in here. Everyone will be safe here. I was just about to fall asleep when Chelsea's voice rang in my mind. We can only convince others if we can make sure our friends believed us. I don't have a lot of friends who know about my secret.
"Christian are you up?" Someone's v
Christian's Point of View, I was in the hotel lobby when I called for Riya informing her to come to the hotel as soon as possible. I waited for half an hour when she reached here. I was waiting in her office. She came running gasping for air as she stopped in front of me. I gave her the water bottle to drink from. She took it from my hands and started to drink, when she was done she closed the lid of the bottle and kept it on the table. "What's the matter? Is everything alright? What's the emergency? Are we under attack? Should I call for backup? Or..." She threw a question after question at me. "I'm planning on getting together with Chelsea" Her questions came to stop. "..." "I'm planning to get together with Chelsea. The daughter of Asdell family" I told her clearly. "Wait, What?" she looked so confused right now. "I said I'm planning to get..." "I know, I heard that... I mean what nonsense are you thinking no
Elizabeth's point of view,My head was pounding, My eyes hurt when I tried to open them. I could hear some muffled voices around me. I tried to listen to what they were talking about but it was getting harder. But after some time I could hear them talking now."She is very weak from the emotional breakdown. You should take care of her. It's a critical stage for both of them" Said an unknown voice.I tried to open my eyes but the sharp light made it hard for me to open my eyes. I tried to open my eyes slowly trying to adjust to the blinding light. The whitewashed ceiling came into my vision when I opened my eyes fully. I tried to find where I was.The ceiling was white, The walls were also white. there was a faint smell of disinfectant around me. The windows were covered with blue curtains. The room was quiet but I could hear people talking outside. It was faint but I know someone was talking.I tried to move my body but something
Elizabeth's Point of View,My mind went blank when I heard the news. The feeling was like a bomb of shell fell on me and I was dying. She said I can decide if I want to keep the baby or not. I should decide whether it lives or dies in my womb. What was I supposed to do?"We will give you the time to decide what you want to do with the child. Just know that the child is already two months old. You have a month to decide what to do now. If you pass the trimester you can't do anything about the baby. You can only abort it in this month's time" Susa said and followed everyone outside the room.I was alone in the room, No I was alone with my baby whose fate sat in my hands. My mind was all around the place. I was unable to decide on what to do. I was thinking about nothing but everything. I slowly put my right hand on my belly caressing it. There was fondness bubbling in my heart. A happy tear flowed from my eyes. I was pregnant.I'm pregnant. I'm carrying ano
Riya's Point of view, I was in my room recalling Christian's words from the night. He said such cruel words about Lisa. Why? what must have gone wrong for him to say all those nasty things about Lisa? was he being forced to do that, But who would do that? He is the f*cking king. My head was hurting from the excessive thought process. the base of my hair was stinging with the pain from all the pulling I did from frustration. I'm not sure if I was angry with Christian or disappointed. Even if he wants to get together with Chelsea he has no right to talk about Lisa like that. I picked up my phone and dialed Christian, I'll make sure he knows what he said was wrong. The phone rang for a long time then it went to voice mail. I dialed again and again but it went to voice mail at the end of the call. I was angry, how dare he not receive my phone call. but I know he must be busy with the investigation about the attack. So I calmed down and kept my phone back on
Third person's point of view,Riya was contemplating what to say, she wants Elizabeth to understand that she genuinely cares for her. But she was not sure if Elisa would understand her.Just like Riya Elizabeth was also thinking about what Riya's reason was for lying to her. She wanted everything to be okay with Riya."Answer me Riya, Why are you silent?" Riya's voice was rough and demanding.Riya took a deep breath before lifting her eyes. There were small drops of tears at the end of her eyes. Her hands were trembling."What do you want to know Lisa?" She was resolute about this. "I'll tell you everything you want to know""Why did you lie to me?""I didn't mean to, But I did it to protect you," Riya says."from Whom were you protecting me? I don't see any danger?" Elizabeth questions her."I- I thought it would be difficult for you to handle everything at a time. And we were not sure about reviling our sec
"But won't you guys know about the Greenwood family? Why can't you identify them?" Lisa asked with confusion on her face."That's the problem, we don't know everyone from the Greenwood family, they are scattered all over the place, and they are very secretive about themself. we can only see them when we are in danger" Riya shacks her head as she explains the reason."What do you mean they are very secretive? why would anyone do that?" Elizabeth's eyebrows were furrowed."One time there was an attack on your family because of someone rejecting their mate just like your mother did. Your family barely sustained the attack and went into hiding. Now only when someone reaches the age of 18 the girl will come out to find her mate. once she finds her mate she will be the only link we could contact the greenwood family. Others don't relive their secret.""That's... I don't know how to feel about this. why would anyone attack the whole family?" That person must be
When Elizabeth got up from her sleep she was greeted with all the happy faces of he friends looking at her with expectation. She was a little confused what was the reason for their eagerness."What--" Before she even began her words they all screamed at her."Happiieee Birthdayyy...." Elizabeth closed her ears to avoid the loudness from hurting her ears. But the smile was automatically formed on her face."Thankkk youuuuu..." She also said in loud voice. then they all started laughing at their childishness. There was a small cake placed in front of Elizabeth. It was a chocolate-flavored cake. Her name was written in the middle with a beautiful cream flower of white color just above her name. Chocolate chips were added as a decoration.Everybody was looking at Elizabeth waiting for her to cut the cake except for Jack. His eyes were trained on the cake. Drool dripping at the corner of his mouth. He is a sweet tooth.Everybody knew he was
Elizabeth stayed in the hospital for a week now. Daily she undergoes multiple tests and gets shots to improve her immunity. She had a major emotional shift which could affect the baby they said. She stayed silent for her baby. She had more interactions with Riya and her friends this week. they have been her mental and emotional support. She is already completed her trimester. Now she and her baby are in a stable state. And she is glad everything will go well from now on.She is wide awake waiting for others to get her discharge papers. She wants to go home. She can finally get out of this bed and move around as she wishes. But she doubts she will be able to do that, all this time she has been in constant monitoring from her friends and Riya. They had visited her all the days, always nagging her about what to do, what not to do, How to take care. when she gets to go to her house she has tons of rules and instructions to follow to take care of her and her baby. Ho
When the war ended and the blood dried into the earth, Elizabeth stood beneath the great moonlit boughs of the forest where her soul had endured its greatest trialsโand also where it had found love. The Greenwood mansionโancestral home of her maternal lineageโhad stood untouched for generations on the other side of the continent, isolated on a forgotten cliff, surrounded by old magic. But that place no longer felt like home. It hadnโt for a long time. Her home was here now, in the forest where Christian had first held her while she bled, where her children had laughed for the first time, where the bond of peace had been born from sacrifice. She approached the council of eldersโthe newly formed Circle of Peace that included fae, vampire, and human envoys from the Greenwood family eldersโand made a humble request:โLet the Greenwood Mansion be movedโnot in stone or brick, but in name and spiritโto the forest where this peace was forged.""Let this land, where the ritual was completed an
The first wave of wolves charges straight for the ritual site. Fangs glisten under the eerie light of the ritual fire, claws slash through the air with lethal precision. Elizabeth barely has time to react before Christian yanks her behind him, his crimson eyes blazing.โProtect the ritual at all costs!โ Christian below, his voice cutting through the battlefield. The vampires move first, their speed a blur as they intercept the oncoming attack. Blades clash, fangs sink into flesh, and the sharp scent of blood fills the air. The fairies unleash their magic, shimmering bursts of golden light forming barriers and attacks against the werewolves. The first werewolf lunged. It was fast, a blur of muscle and fur, but Christian was faster. His blade met its mark, slicing through flesh with lethal precision. A strangled yelp, then silence as the body crumpled. Then came the others. Like a tidal wave of rage and fury, the werewolves attacked. They tore through the clearing, their howls fillin
The air at the ritual site was thick with unspoken words, with the weight of fate pressing down on the gathered supernatural beings. The stone circle, carved from the bones of the earth itself, hummed with dormant power. At its center, the ritual fire flickered with an unnatural emerald glow, waiting for the final blood to be spilled to awaken the ancient bond between creatures.Elizabeth tightened her grip around the ceremonial dagger in her hand, feeling the magic coil around her fingers like a whisper of fate. This ritual had to succeedโthere was no other option. Without it, the balance between supernatural beings and humans would shatter, and the world would descend into chaos. But something was wrong. She could feel it in the way the wind shifted suddenly, in the way the fire flickered erratically as if sensing the unease in the hearts of those gathered.A low, guttural growl rippled through the clearing, sending a shiver of tension through the gathered ritual participants. The w
Deep within the heart of the forest, where the canopy of leaves allowed only slivers of moonlight to pierce through, two figures stood in the shadow of ancient trees. The air was thick with tension, the silence broken only by the distant howl of wolves and the occasional rustle of leaves.Alpha Brannon's eyes glowed a sharp amber, his gaze fixed on the bloodied body of his son, Austin. His hands clenched into fists so tight that his claws pierced his own palms, drawing blood. Rage seethed through every vein in his body, his wolf howling for vengeance. His broad shoulders trembled with barely restrained fury."Look at him, Alpha," Tinaโs voice slithered into his ears, soft and poisonous like the hiss of a snake. She crouched beside Austin's lifeless form, her hand gently brushing his blood-soaked hair. "Your son... your heir... gone. And who did this to him?" She tilted her head, her eyes glinting with malice.Brannon didn't respond. His gaze remained fixed on Austinโs lifeless face, ea
The forest stretched out in an endless sea of green, but his path was clear. Each step he took felt heavier than the last, like the weight of unseen chains dragging him back. The crisp scent of damp earth and pine needles filled his senses, but it wasnโt enough to quiet the storm in his mind.Liam Black โ Alpha of the Black Panther Pack โ moved with predatory grace, his golden eyes sharp as a blade in the dim twilight. His sleek black coat, faintly visible through the open flaps of his cloak, shone faintly under the dying red light of the setting sun. His muscles coiled and uncoiled with each step as his internal battle raged on.Every instinct told him to turn around. To go back. To keep his distance from her.Elizabeth.Her name lingered in his mind like a stubborn thorn. The half-sister he didnโt ask for. The girl who had everything he didnโt.โShe had a mother,โ he thought bitterly, his jaw tightening. โI had him.โHis father's face flashed in his mind โ sharp eyes, a voice like t
The air hums with quiet tension as the group moves deeper into the heart of the forest. Shadows stretch long beneath the canopy, and the fading sunlight filters through in jagged beams, cutting through the mist that curls along the ground. Each step forward feels heavier than the last, as though the earth itself knows the gravity of whatโs to come. The Ritual Stone stands at the center of a wide clearing, a massive slab of ancient rock with deep etchings carved by hands long gone. The sigils glow faintly as if they can already sense the magic in the air. Itโs a sacred place โ one that has seen countless rituals over the centuries. It will see another today. It is surrounded by small stone basins symbolizing different races of creatures. All the stone basins are connected to the Ritual Stone my magic.Elizabeth stands at the edge of the clearing, her fingers brushing the rough bark of a nearby tree. Her gaze is distant, eyes narrowed on the horizon where the sun slowly dips lower and l
The rhythmic thud of boots against the old wooden bridge echoes in the quiet night. Each step feels like a heartbeat, steady but loud, as if the entire world is holding its breath. Elizabeth's eyes remain half-closed, her head resting against Christianโs shoulder. Sheโs conscious, but barely. The chill of the night air bites at her wet clothes, but Christianโs warmth seeps into her, a living furnace of protection.Jenny walks just a step behind, her gaze flicking nervously over her shoulder. The forest behind them is a sea of shadowy figures and distant howls. None of the werewolves follow โ not yet. But she knows better than to relax. โTheyโll be back,โ she mutters.โTheyโll try,โ Christian replies calmly, his eyes fixed on the far end of the bridge. His grip on Elizabeth tightens, just a fraction, as if the mere idea of someone threatening her again sends an unspoken fury through him. โBut it wonโt end well for them.โThe other side of the bridge comes into view โ a soft glow of lan
The icy river water clings to Elizabethโs clothes, seeping into every fiber. She feels weightless but not in a good way. Her limbs are heavy, her body numb, and her vision blurs in and out like a flickering candle. But even through the haze, one thing remains clear โ Christian's face.โStay with me, Elizabeth,โ Christian's voice is low, controlled, but thereโs a crack of urgency beneath it. His crimson eyes burn with intensity, never once leaving hers as he cradles her like sheโs the most fragile, precious thing in the world. Her lips twitch into a faint smile. โYou look mad,โ she whispers, her voice hoarse and barely audible. โDid I scare you?โโTerrified,โ he admits, brushing a thumb over her cheek. His jaw tightens as he takes in the state sheโs in โ blood-soaked clothes, bruises along her neck, her breath uneven. His gaze shifts to Jenny, his eyes hardening into something colder. โWho did this to her?โJenny, still panting and soaked from the river, glares back toward the forest.
Jennyโs heart thunders in her chest, her breaths sharp and shallow. The moment Tina and Austin step out from the side path, her instincts scream danger. Her eyes dart to Elizabeth, who, despite her weakened state, narrows her gaze with pure hatred. Blood trickles down Elizabethโs arm, her pallor more ashen than before, but her eyes โ sharp, calculating eyes โ are still full of fire.โWell, well, look at you two,โ Tinaโs voice is laced with smug satisfaction as she steps forward, her smile as sharp as a wolfโs grin. Her eyes, once so familiar, now seem foreign, darkened by envy and betrayal. โRunning away like rats. Did you really think you could escape us, Elizabeth?โ"Still acting like a queen, huh, Tina?" Elizabeth sneers, though her words are weaker than she would have liked. She grips Jenny's arm for support, her legs wobbling like a newborn fawn. "Guess betrayal suits you better than humility."Austin growls low in his throat, his eyes glowing amber. He cracks his neck, flexing h
