Days passed. Wedding day approached. Abby was frustrated, not knowing what to do. Her father came inside the bride's room. Noticing her in the same normal dress, he scolded, "What are you doing without wearing a wedding dress?"
He picked up the dress and handed it to her as she blankly stared at herself miserably in the mirror. Taking a deep breath in, she put the wedding dress on. Unfortunately, Abby's tension aroused as she was escorted to the altar and walked down the aisle. Now she was standing in front of her father's chosen groom. She gave a disgusted look as soon as his sight fell on her. The priest began to read the vow. Abby's mind is bewildered to go on with what is going on right now. Accidentally, she glimpsed Steven standing next to her father, watching her. "What is he doing here?" She mumbled with conflict. That caught the groom's attention right away. Thinking she was asking something to him, the groom smiled, "What?" Abby switched her gaze to the groom and shook her head. "Nothing." Spilling her sight at the random place, she immersed herself in the thoughts as the priest read the wedding ceremony. "I have no choice but to accept his offer. Whether I choose him or not, he will surely make me wear that ring. Let's accept it with an offer since he's free. But his rude behaviour makes me angrier often. What to do?" Seeing Duri, who smiled at her from standing in the crowd, she thought, "Will it be a shame if I run away with him?" "Of course!" She answered herself and was quick to switch her glance to Steven, who looked like the right option at the right time. "Let's adjust with him. It's going to be only one year." She convinced herself to inhale some courageous air. "You can, Abby. Let's do it." She encouraged herself and appeared to face anything for her desired life. "Are you willing to live the rest of your life with Mr. Keylen?" The priest asked. "No!" She shook her head brazenly. Everyone at the wedding place is stunned except Steven. She lifted her wedding long skirt, ran down towards Steven, grasped his wrist, and pulled him rushingly to run away from there, whispering, "Let's run away!" Unfortunately, Steven dodged her hand, standing steadily, causing her to get herself dragged back. "I will wear your ring!" She whispered loudly. He extended his arms, giving himself to her. Her father was shocked. Abby gripped his wrist tightly; she dragged him, running away from the marriage as the groom's brain frozen, experiencing a hard time digesting what was happening right now. Duri blinked in surprise, "Steven?" "Abby!" Her father shouted, chasing after them. Steven and Abby hurried inside the car. Spotting her father was about to catch them, she knocked his thigh, rushing him, "Start the car, fast!" But she felt her right hand's index fingers get by Steven. She quickly turned to him and found him putting that ring on her finger. Abby was a bit baffled seeing that loose ring fit on her finger and apprehensively peeked her eyes when that ring glowed brightly as much as it could make her vision block. After that, Steven started the car, and both escaped before her father's hand reached the car door. Her father sighed in frustration. Abby gulped the fear and gave a horrified gaze at Steven. "Am I chosen for this?" With uncertainty, she queried him. "Yes. This is why I told you not to get married." "What's this ring to do with my marriage?" She voiced believing his dictation. "You can't be alive after this ring is returned to its owner." "What?" Abby choked up. Her shocked, wide eye fixed on Steven. Half an hour later, they arrived at Steven's mansion. Steven went in first, and then, exposing a weary expression, she stepped inside his house. "Your father knows my address. That's why I bring you here. Take the shower upstairs; I have some things to do. Bye." Steven headed to the exit, informing her everything. "One sec!" Abby blocked his way. He looked at her glare, which was more like waiting for revenge. "You hadn't signed the contract yet," she jogged his mind. "Where is the contract paper then?" He questioned competitively. She breathed out her anger, declaring, "Wait until I write it down!" "No! I have s-" She gave a deadliest sharp glare directly up at his eye that shuddered him slightly. "Wait. Like I accepted your ring without asking anything." Steven rolled his eyes away, muttering, "Whatever!" And got seated on the sofa. She sat next to him in her wedding dress, dragging the laptop to her side. 30 minutes later, Abby stretched the paper and pen to him. Steven went through the rules that were written in the contract paper. 1. Part A and Part B should sleep in a separate room. If Part A's father ended up finding them, Part A and Part B should act like a real married couple until the contract ends. "Okay!" He thumbs up before landing his eye on the second rule. 2. If Part B fails to find the ring's owner within one year of the contract, Part A can return the ring. "No, no, no!" Steven showed a thumbs upside down. Confusion rented her face. "You can't take off this ring whenever you want. It won't." Steven threw light on her confusion. "Then do I need to keep this ring until the owner comes?" Abby frustrated. "Let me strike it," Steven informed her, dodging her worry carefreely, and he struck the second rule. "Answer me!" Abby raged. "Shh...." He hushed and declared, "I don't know either." He then read the third rule. 3. Part B isn't allowed to fall in love with Part A in any situation. Giving a subtly narrowed eye, he interrogated, "What about Party A? Did you already fall for me?" She scoffed, "Never!" "You can't rule the natural feelings. What if you regret it later?" He dictated and struck that rule. "Huh?" Abby was annoyed. 4. Party B shouldn't rule Party A to where to stay, and Party B has no right to order Party A. "I strike this too!" He profounded. She grasped that pen and asked, "Why?" "This is my house, and you are my wife from now on. I have rights to order you, and I'm your master now." "What is this nonsense?" Abby voiced aggaravated. She tried to snatch the contract paper from him before he struck every rule. Unfortunately, he stood up and stretched the paper straight above his head, which Abby couldn't reach. She jumped, expecting she could catch the contract. "Give me! Give it to me!" She yelled at him, madly, jumping to reach the paper as he handed his trust to his height. "Give it to me!" She raised her voice at him. Her feet accidentally stomped on Steven's, causing him to fall back on the sofa. Furthermore, since her hand gripped Steven's forearm cautiously, sensing she was losing balance, she also ended up falling over him. Despite that, her aim was on the contract paper only when Steven's cheek blushed right away as her boobs carried over his chest. Finding her hand short to reach the contract paper, she crawled further forward over him, and expectedly, her hand caught the papers. Steven's face got buried under her front shoulder and neck. In the blink of an eye, her proud face turned into shock with a reddish cheek. She clenched her fist, which disclosed her anger, and she lifted her body slightly and found Steven's moisturised lips faded track on her front shoulder bone. "It's your fault!" Steven blamed her. She breathed angrily, glaring into his glamorously glowing eyes. The contract papers scattered on the ground, waving leisurely in the air as Steven's grip slacked slightly. His gaze was lost in her elegant, angry face. "This is why you strike my third rule?" Queried Abby. She was conscious and not even a sign of embracing his inevitable handsomeness. He scoffed and slid her down to the ground as soon as he received her unwavering response. She dumbfoundedly ended up falling on the ground, and her elbow got scratched by the table's leg, which had been near the sofa. "Ah!" She groaned, holding her elbow. However, Steven strikes every other rule in the contract, signs it, and stretches that to her tears and swelling eyes. She grabbed the papers and said, exposing her angrily breathing face, "I got hurt!" "Where?" He asked, checking her elbow, noticing she was having trouble keeping that hand in normally. "It's because of you!" She accused him without hesitation. "Then let me take charge of it," he surrendered himself instantly, putting those papers away. There was no ego or any objection on his face. He held her wounded elbow with his bare hand cautiously, and then he created a plain blue flame from his palm, which eased her irritation in a flash. Abby surprisingly contemplated at him, only to find his Irish were also burning with a blue flame. In less than a minute, Abby acknowledged her elbow had healed. She twisted it here and there, confirming his success rate. "What are you?" With unbelievable eyes, she interrogated him, who was picking up the contract paper from the sofa. "I signed it." He handed the contract papers instead of answering and stood up to leave. She pinched his toe and stopped him. "Ouch!" He hissed in pain, frowning down at her. "I'm asking, what are you?" Abby sounded authoritative. "Watch your tone with your husband, dear!" He voiced an exhortation. His mentioning the word dear was a bit scary to her. So she laid back, permitting him.Steven stepped back, directing his gaze downward.Abby's eyebrows furrowed real quickly."Just continue your work. I have a meeting with a client today." He said, twisting his feet towards the dressing room and walking past her as her gaze turned into an intense glare. There was an anxiety his eyes were carried along with while he entered the dressing room."Something is wrong? Why is he avoiding me suddenly?" She thought, developing suspicion of her. After finishing breakfast, he headed to work, leaving Abby to stick with her job.For Steven, that day was hard to pass on, unlike Abby, who plunged into the work of passion.Abby finished her drawing work around 8:00 pm.Clara left the office entrance at night after doing her work. While she was walking on the staircase to reach the road, a fly crossed her eye suddenly. She veered around, dodging it from attacking her. It was the time she glanced at Steven's office room, where the lights were still on."Didn't Steven leave yet?" She tho
Abby continued her passion soon after returning home in the evening, while Steven got himself swamped with his office work outside. The clock ticked, indicating the time for dinner. Yet Steven didn't return from his work. Abby held her stomach as it growled in starvation. She then came downstairs and checked the fridge for something to eat. All she got was a drink only.Without having a choice, she stuffed her stomach with the drinks before continuing her work.Around 10 pm, Steven came home with the dinner."Let's have dinner, Abby." He said, unboxing the dishes on the table."I'm full already," she said, keeping the focus on her work."Huh? How? We have no food in the house.""I drank those drinks from the fridge.""Drinks? How can you survive by drinking juice only? Come on, let's have a full dinner." He approached her and reached for her hand. She dropped that hand and twisted her gaze to him. "I'm on the track. Don't disturb me." Her cautious warning echoed the sincerity."Oh! Ok
Duri reached for her right hand as he witnessed her aghast.A slight twitch movement that his proximity caused on her ring-worn finger brought her back from being stunned, and she tugged off her hand real quickly.Duri felt disappointed. His regretful gaze rested on her wavering eyes."I'm..." Abby stumbled with words."Just give me a chance, Abby." Duri pleaded, prioritizing her response.Steven's bang opened the restaurant door and earned everyone's glance right away. Spotting Duri and Abby, he hurried there and pulled Abby off from the chair."Mr. Steven!" Duri arose from his seat, roaring.Abby was confused about where to respond and what to do. She just went along with Steven's harsh drag."Stop messing with my wife already!" Steven yelled, scowling. He then dragged Abby along with him as Duri furrowed at Steven fervently. When they were about to reach the office entrance, Abby shook her hand and drifted away from him instantly.Steven veered around. "What's now?" His knitted bro
To his aghast, she struck him hard on the cheek, causing him to groan, grabbing the jaw, "Uugh..."He rolled his confused gaze at her, groaning slightly."How was it?" She asked. Sarcasm replaced the lust.He could only blink, extremely conflicted. "It hurts!" He muttered, looking mad."That's how I felt back then when I found out about Clara and Mina." She growled, shooting fumes.Steven sighed in regret, fixing his scowl eyes at her. "But I explained al—"Her thumb finger braced his lower lip and muted him.He carried his sassy look up at hers only to realize the possessiveness was still dancing in her eyes.He clutched her wrist and pulled it off from his lips before asking, "What do you want me to do about that?""Do you love me?" She interrogated him."Yes!" He replied shortly."Then you must know what to do about that." She said, stood up, and stepped out of the bathtub. He grabbed her hand, asking, "Where are you going? Aren't we agreed to bathe together?""Come to me only afte
Abby's father appeared at Steven's house, ran fast upstairs, and barged inside their bedroom rushingly. There, he noticed both Steven and Abby were lying unconscious in the bed. He then approached them, fluttering. He quickly covered his nose, sniffing around the stinky atmosphere. "She drank again?!" He was pissed off.Thereafter, he pulled Steven off her before lifting and carrying her in his arms. Leaving Steven to be there unconscious, Abby's father walked out of the room with Abby in his arms. The dawn brightened the living hall, announcing the warning to Abby's father while he was stroking her hair fondly, waiting for her to wake patiently.Witnessing her eyelashes twitching, which meant she was going to wake soon, he smiled a little in gladness and disappeared before she opened her eyes.Inside the bedroom, Steven agitatedly awoke and was flustered at Abby's absence."Abby! Abby!" He shouted, looking around the room first, and rushed out. He then came downstairs without even be
"Who? Me?" Duri asked sarcastically."Yes, can't you?""She won't even look at my eyes. How can I make her do that? Just find another way!" Duri said and left the chat.Flashing the desire through his eyes, he ran his fingers over his jaw and queried, "Do you love me?"She opened her eyes and gawped at him foolishly.Caressing her chin for a moment, he drove his fingers down her fair neck and repeated gazing into her eyes, "Do you love me?"She leaned in, aiming for his lips. Unfortunately, he turned aside and asked again, "Do you love me?"There were no fluctuations in his voice. It was filled with calm and patience only. She gripped his chin and twisted it towards her forcefully before glaring, "Are you going to do it or not?""Do you love me or not?" He repeated, making her know that was a warning. She leaned in closer, puckering her lips. Almost got a breeze of his breath. To her misfortune, he pushed her face back just by pressing his index finger on her forehead. She sighed and
