Wyneth stopped short. 'Camellias? How did he find out?'

"Surprised?" Serena asked. "The lead worker mentioned you weren't into roses, so they brought camellias. Guess you really like them, huh?"

Wyneth did not say a word.

"At first, I figured he was just being petty, like he'd trash the roses if he couldn't have you," Serena said. "But no, he just wanted to change them out. Shows how much he notices about you." Seeing Wyneth's lack of response, Serena playfully swung her sword, aligning its tip with Wyneth's. "Honestly, I've never seen Mr. Hamilton be this nice to a woman. It's totally new."

Wyneth finally met Serena's gaze. "Really?"

Serena nodded. "Yeah."

"So, should I be thanking him or something?"

Serena paused, then replied with an uneasy laugh, "Nah. If Mr. Hamilton is being nice, it's not 'cause he wants you to thank him."

"You trying to sell me on him?"

"Sell you on him? Not exactly," Serena replied. "I just owe him a favor and wanted to make good on it." Wyneth chuckl
