Chapter 8: I Got Divorced

Just imagine, what kind of expression would Lu Yuhan have if he knew that every time he kissed what he thought was a beautiful face, it was actually a beautiful bottom?

Tears streamed down Nanyin's cheeks, cold and salty.

Two years of her youth and one kidney, all for a ridiculous marriage. It was laughable, even she despised herself.

"Mrs. Lu..." The slender, fair-skinned boy standing beside her tugged at his shirt corner, awkwardly calling out, pulling Nanyin back to reality, "Are... are you alright?"

The little boy was so scared that his tongue tied even more, "I... I... I... can’t..."

"You can spend money, right?" Nanyin picked up the check for five billion left by Lu Yuhan and waved it.

While changing shoes, Nanyin saw Lu Yuhan's favorite pair of black leather shoes placed in the entryway. She turned to the wine rack and took one of Lu Yuhan's prized bottles. She glanced at the English writing on the label—this vintage should be worth millions.

She then walked back to the entryway and poured the entire bottle into the shoes. Barry Dunbar watched, his mouth hanging open in shock.

Nanyin patted Barry Dunbar's back, "You’re so timid, how will you ever become an excellent bunny?"

Nanyin wrapped her arms around the little bunny and went downstairs, opening the door of the red Cayenne parked by the roadside. She tossed the little bunny into the back seat and got into the car herself.

"I'm divorced!" Nanyin tried to control her surging emotions, pretending not to care.

The man in the car had a pair of beautiful peach-blossom eyes, full of charm. He leaned over to fasten Nanyin's seatbelt, raising an eyebrow with a mischievous smile, and said indifferently, "Oh, congratulations! We never thought we'd see the day when you'd come to your senses in this lifetime!"

Nanyin glared at the man, "Bill Gilbert, are you asking for a beating?"

She struggled to hold back her tears. Two years ago, she cut off all ties with her family and friends, rushing to the Lu family without hesitation, never imagining her ending would be so desolate.

Bill Gilbert controlled the steering wheel with one hand, pretending not to notice the tears welling up in Nanyin's eyes, and put on a flattering expression, "Little Ancestor, where do you want to go?"

In the top private room of Cloud Club, the rotating laser lights made Bill Gilbert's temples throb. He endured the deafening music and grabbed the bottle of red wine from Nanyin.

Little Ancestor had already downed three bottles of Romanée-Conti. Even though he, the Seventh Young Master of T City, wasn't short on money, he was worried Nanyin might drink herself into a stomach bleed.

Moreover, her kidney...

"Don't drink anymore, it's bad for your kidneys..." Bill Gilbert shouted in Nanyin's ear, trying to drown out the BGM.

Nanyin acted as if she hadn't heard, wildly shaking her long, straight black hair, singing, "When the moon sleeps, I won't sleep, I'm a bald little darling..."

Seeing that his attempts to stop her were futile, Bill Gilbert could only sit back on the sofa. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Nanyin's post-marriage property—the little bunny.

The little bunny, clearly unused to such a scene, was watching Nanyin, who was getting drunk, with wide-eyed astonishment.

Suddenly, Bill Gilbert had an epiphany: to save a woman hurt by love, give her double the love...

But the little bunny, although pretty, was clearly inexperienced.

"Watch her, I’ll be right back."

After giving his instructions, Bill Gilbert left the room. As the big boss of Cloud Club, finding a few high-quality bunnies wasn't difficult.

Later, Little Ancestor would sober up, and realize that men and love were just that—different faces, the same tremors...
