Lilith's smirk turned into a full blown smile and I hated that look on her face.

"Lilith's going to be CEO?" I asked, turning back to face father as Lilith walked to our direction.

"Yes Elowen" he lowered his head.

"You," he started.

"You... were away and she was the only worthy person I had in mind for the job." He added.

That was an obvious lie, I could smell it.

I lifted my eyes to Lilith's form and scoffed silently.

"Alright, I guess if you think she was the worthy most eligible person for the position," I smiled and pointed at Lilith.

"Then so be it." I added. Hoping I hadn't given away the discomfort in my voice.

Dad's eyebrows go up in surprise and Lilith's eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

I wasn't after that anyway.

"So when are we getting the ceremony started?" Dad smiled and held his hand open.
