"Hey! You can't park here!" The knocking on the window was dulled out by the loud music blasting from the car's system.

The knocking came again and I groaned, winding the window down so I could see the face matched to the angry voice that had been yelling muffled words to me for the past ten minutes.

"How can I help you, sir?" I asked, my voice as polite as I could make it. The man held his hand up to his nose, his face scrunching up into a frown then a confused expression.

"You can't park here mister." He said, his voice firm and thick with anger as his eyes searched the car suspiciously.

"I won't be here long," I muttered, my hand already on the button to wind up the window when the man angrily slammed his hand down on the window, holding it down.

"This is a fire lane, and you're blocking the delivery entrance for the bakery."
