Amelia’s POV

The next morning, I woke up bright and early. To my surprise, I’d actually slept. Deeply.

Normally, after anything involving Rowan, I’d spend half the night replaying every word, every glance, every touch.

But this time? I’d slept like a baby.

Maybe Gabriel was right—therapy, yoga, meditation… it was all starting to work. I didn’t feel untethered anymore. I felt present, powerful, alive.

When I padded into the kitchen, Liz’s place was still a graveyard. Not even the faintest sign

Unprofessional and disgusting. He is not reliable and Rowan disrespectful. All the men portrayed in the story are despicable. No anchor figure. The story is turning pathetic as if sex is the only driver.

  • After My Wedding Was Stolen, I Married Ex's Uncle   Chapter 243 - Finally For Real

Amelia’s POV"Will you marry me because you want to—not because I pressured you into it?" he added softly.Tears filled my eyes instantly. After everything we had been through… hearing Rowan say those words felt almost surreal."Yes," I whispered. His entire face transformed with relief and joy."Yeah?" he asked breathlessly, like he couldn’t believe it.I laughed through my tears. "Yes, Mr. Lancaster."The sound that escaped him was half laugh, half broken exhale before he cupped my face and kissed me deeply. And this time—It felt completely different.Like we were finally choosing each other without fear standing between us.His hand slid carefully around my waist, pulling me closer as the evening sunlight painted the garden gold around us."You have no idea how long I’ve waited to hear that," he murmured against my lips."Mommy! Daddy!"We both turned at the tiny voice.Liam came running into the garden at full speed while Evangeline followed behind at a far more composed pace."W

  • After My Wedding Was Stolen, I Married Ex's Uncle   Chapter 242 - The Beginning of Forever

Amelia’s POVFor a moment, I couldn’t move. The picturesque street around us faded into nothing but background noise. All I could see was Rowan. And all he could see was me.Gabriel cleared his throat. "I, uh… I think I should get going."I turned toward him. "Gabriel—""It’s alright," he said with a gentle smile. "Goodbye, Amelia."I gave him a grateful hug. "Bye, Gabriel. Thank you. For everything."With that, he turned and walked away."Amelia!" Liam shouted again, sprinting toward me with all the energy a little boy could possibly possess.I laughed softly just before he crashed into me, nearly knocking me off balance."Whoa!" I exclaimed, tightening one arm around Anna while hugging him with the other. "Hey buddy!""Careful," Rowan called, though there was amusement in his voice now.Liam pulled back slightly, beaming up at me."I missed you!" he declared."I missed you too," I said softly. Then he noticed Anna properly. His eyes widened. "That’s the baby?"I laughed."Yes, that’

Amelia’s POVSilence fell, complete and absolute.Rowan’s eyes widened. All the emptiness vanished instantly."…What?" he breathed."I’m pregnant," I repeated quietly. His entire body went still. And for the first time in days—Real life flashed back into his eyes.A sharp exhale left him."You…" His voice broke slightly. "You’re serious?"I nodded once."Yes."He stared at me like the world had just tilted beneath him. Then his gaze dropped slowly to my stomach. "Oh my God…"Emotion cracked through his voice so suddenly and so rawly that it almost made me cry."You’re carrying my child?"I nodded again. His hand gripped the armrest tightly. "Amelia…"Tears burned behind my eyes, but I forced myself to stay composed."If you still want to see this child," I said carefully, "then you need to recover immediately."His gaze snapped back to mine. "You can’t leave," he said instantly."I have to.""Amelia—""I’m serious," I cut in softly. "You nearly died in that fire. You’re destroying yo

  • After My Wedding Was Stolen, I Married Ex's Uncle   Chapter 240 - The Truth Will Set Us Free

Amelia’s POVThe Lancaster estate looked exactly the same. Massive. Imposing. Untouchable. The iron gates slid open slowly as my taxi approached, revealing the long driveway lined with perfectly trimmed hedges and fountains that probably cost more than most people’s homes. For a moment, I almost told the driver to turn around. But then I thought about Evangeline’s voice on the phone."Please."I still couldn’t fully process hearing that word from her.The woman rarely even blinked at human emotion, let alone expressed it. Yet somehow, she had sounded genuinely afraid.I stepped out of the taxi and looked up at the enormous mansion looming ahead of me."One last thing before I leave," I murmured to myself. Then I walked to the front door and rang the bell.A few moments later, the door opened.Evangeline stood there in an elegant cream-colored outfit, perfectly composed as always. But not entirely. There was something strained beneath the surface. Something tired."Amelia," she said so

  • After My Wedding Was Stolen, I Married Ex's Uncle   Chapter 239 - Between Life and Leaving

Amelia’s POVEverything blurred. The fire. The screams. The chaos. I could barely process any of it.Figures moved in the distance. People gathering. Voices rising. And then—I caught a glimpse of her face—Burned. Twisted. But still recognizable. My stomach dropped. "…Victoria?" I whispered. My heart began pounding."Why would she—?" I muttered, the thought incomplete, fragmented.Did she just destroy everything I built?Did she just—Almost kill me?A fresh wave of shock hit me, colder than the night air."Oh my god…""Stay with me," a paramedic urged, placing a mask over my face. "Focus on your breathing."I nodded weakly, though my attention had already shifted again. To Rowan. He had sunk down onto the ground not far from me. The adrenaline that had carried him through the fire was gone. Replaced by something far more dangerous.Agony.His face was pale, his movements sluggish, his body finally catching up to everything it had endured."Rowan," I whispered, panic rising.I tried

  • After My Wedding Was Stolen, I Married Ex's Uncle   Chapter 238 - Sea of Flames

Rowan’s POVOne moment, the fire was a contained blaze—manageable, distant. The next—It was everywhere.Flames licked up the walls, devouring the carefully designed interiors, crawling along the ceiling like something alive. Smoke thickened rapidly, turning the air heavy, suffocating."Everyone out!" someone shouted."Move! Move!"Panic erupted instantly. People surged toward the exits, shoving, stumbling, shouting over one another.I tightened my grip on my walking stick, scanning the chaos."Amelia," I muttered.I couldn’t see her.Not through the crowd. Not through the smoke."Amelia!" I called out, louder this time.No response. My chest tightened. Maybe she was already out. She had to be.She was smart. Quick. She wouldn’t stay behind.I forced myself to believe it."She’s out," I muttered under my breath. "She’s already out."But something in my gut twisted. No certainty. No relief. Just… doubt."Sir, you need to move!" someone urged, grabbing my arm.Adrenaline surged through
