Damien's pov

I was still waiting patiently to hear what you would tell her mom if her mom is not totally convinced by her reason. While I was waiting very curiously, my personal assistant walked into the office again, and he came to remind me about the board meeting, which he had already reminded me about and is supposed to be happening, but I'm still here trying to figure out what my contract wife is going to say about not having kids now.

“You can stand in for me for the few minutes I'm not available; this is more important than you admitting to me.” With the look on my personal assistant's face, I could easily tell that he was shocked to find out that I will not be attending the meeting very early today because of what I am watching. He knows me too well to know that I do not miss any meeting, especially when I think it is very important. You couldn't reject what I told him to do, so he immediately stepped out of the room so that he could represent me in the board meeting.
