Chapter 6: Chapter Six: Jian Luo, You Really Are Despicable

Darkwood Courtyard was originally a resort, later purchased by Lambert Hobson and transformed into a private estate. The taxi stopped at the foot of the mountain, and she walked to the gatehouse, calmly stating, "I'm here to see Lambert Hobson."

The security guard at the gatehouse looked at her with an odd expression, his mouth slightly agape. "Miss Jian, please wait a moment." He picked up the walkie-talkie and whispered something, then quickly opened the gate. "Miss Jian, Mr. Qi has asked you to go up. On foot, that is."

Quintina Foster nodded without showing any annoyance. After all, she was used to Lambert Hobson's petty nature. From the foot of the mountain to the mid-slope, it was a good dozen kilometers. She walked in silence, familiar with every inch of the path, having accompanied Lambert Hobson for short stays each year.

Returning after a year, the scenery along the way remained almost unchanged. Even the rest pavilion by the roadside still bore the inscription written in her own hand. Suddenly, a car sped past her. Inside, Agatha Grey's beautiful face twisted for a moment.

"Uncle, why is Quintina Foster here? Did my brother call her?" she asked, clenching her fingers and forcing a smile.

The butler, Uncle, sitting in the front seat, glanced at the figure growing smaller in the rearview mirror, a fleeting look of surprise in his eyes. "Probably not. Mr. Qi didn't inform me that Miss Jian would be coming today."

Agatha Grey pressed her lips together, no longer speaking, but her flickering eyes betrayed her inner turmoil.

More than an hour later, Quintina Foster arrived at the villa on the mid-slope. The servants in the villa, upon seeing her, showed no outward reaction, but a hint of surprise and unease flashed in their eyes.

"Miss Jian, Mr. Qi is in the study. Please go up."

"Thank you."

Without needing further guidance, Quintina Foster confidently made her way to the second floor and knocked on the study door.

"Come in." A seductive male voice came from inside.

Lambert Hobson's voice was deep, like a cello, low and elegant, with a natural allure. Once, Quintina Foster had loved nothing more than to engage him in conversation. When she felt unwell, she would even cling to him, asking him to read to her until she fell asleep.

Pushing the door open, she found Lambert Hobson alone in the study, sitting behind his desk, handling documents. Seeing her enter, he looked up, leaning back, his features relaxed and composed. One hand was slightly folded under his chin, while the other rested on the table, lazily twirling an expensive gold pen. A half-smile played on his lips, and his piercing gaze seemed to see right through her.

He asked, "What brings Miss Jian here today?"

Quintina Foster smiled. "I've come to apologize to Mr. Qi. Yesterday, I failed to serve you well and disappointed you."

Lambert Hobson looked at her for a moment, then suddenly smiled and stood up, walking towards her.

"How do you plan to make amends, Miss Jian?"

Quintina Foster reached out and unbuttoned her coat, revealing a more provocative and revealing skirt than the one she wore the previous night. She slowly walked to him, wrapped her arms around his neck, and breathed, "Whatever Mr. Qi wants, I will do."

"Like this?" Without warning, Lambert Hobson slipped his hand under her clothes, grasping her softness.

Quintina Foster stiffened, instinctively wanting to struggle. Lambert Hobson's eyes narrowed, and he paused, pinching her chin, forcing her to look at him. "Have you already forgotten what you just said, Miss Jian?"

Quintina Foster forced a smile. "Of course not."

"Do you need me to show you how?" Lambert Hobson's lips curled coldly. "Open your mouth."

Quintina Foster's lips trembled slightly as she slowly parted them. Lambert Hobson extended his index finger, teasing her tongue, then slowly thrusting in and out. This highly suggestive action made Quintina Foster feel so ashamed that she wanted to bite down, but Lambert Hobson's firm grip on her chin forced her to keep her mouth open.

Seeing the humiliation and anger in her eyes, Lambert Hobson chuckled, withdrawing his finger, a silver thread trailing behind. His eyes suddenly turned a bit red, and he abruptly lowered his head, capturing her lips, his tongue probing and twisting. But when he sensed her hidden resistance, his eyes turned cold, and his gentle kiss turned into a fierce bite.

Soon, Quintina Foster's lips were bleeding.

The metallic taste of blood filled her nostrils, making her feel nauseous, but she suppressed it, biting back fiercely.

A muffled groan escaped Lambert Hobson as his thin lips also bled, but he was not angry; instead, he seemed pleased. He released her lips, wiping the blood from them with his thumb, rubbing gently. Suddenly, he pushed her against the floor-to-ceiling window, facing outside, and before she could react, he yanked off his expensive tie and bound her hands above her head.

"Aren't you afraid someone might see, Mr. Qi?" Quintina Foster said, looking at the unobstructed view outside.

"What's there to fear? If you're in this line of work, you have to get used to it, don't you?" Lambert Hobson replied sarcastically, his deft fingers lifting her skirt from behind and slipping beneath it.

His words were like a sharp knife, piercing her heart, freezing her blood.

After a long moment, Quintina Foster closed her eyes, abandoning the last shred of hope she had clung to. She endured the pain in her chest and the discomfort in her body, smiling sweetly. "You're right, Mr. Qi. In this line of work, one must follow the rules. I'll definitely learn better in the future."

Lambert Hobson suddenly withdrew his hand, his gaze as cold as a blade.

"Quintina Foster, you are truly despicable!"
