States

General Packs Meeting Day

Valentina's POV:-

Today, is the day on which all our hopes are sheltered. It is around 8 o' clock and I am already at the Palace. I has asked Kayne to check each and every food item and I will keep an eye out on the portion of the palace from where rogues will be breaching the security. 

Even though there are members of Royal Military spread at every corner, there is no way that I am even slight bit assured.

By 9 o'clock I need to the child out of the Royale Palace. How am I gonna do that? It is not known even to myself. For, now I have entered the premises. My first step is to access my weapons.

For now, I only need my swiss knife, pistol, silencer and extra bullets for emergency. After that, I will work on finding where the hier to throne is?

I silently but carefully made my way to kitchen. I flashed my ID to the guards and entered. As per plan the weapons are in the fruit basket placed at bottom and marked green. 

I made my way towards it and retrieved the basket I want.

"Ma'am, what are you doing here?" A voice questioned.

"Nothing much, I was just checking on the quality of fruits here." I lied effortlessly.

"You carry on, after this I have to make sure that everything is in order at venue as well." I hurriedly replied to make him go away and waste my time.

"Yeah, Yeah, Carry on." He mumbled and left from there.

I silently retrieved my weapons and hid them in my blazer inside pocket. From there, I ran to the washroom, I had spotted on my way to kitchen.

I hid my knife in my boots and pistol and bullets in holster on my thigh, my flowy skirt helping in hiding it.

After touching up, I added slight touches to my makeup and left.

Now, how can I find out about the private wing? Its not going to be on ground or first floor and no one has access to upper floors. I need to think something and fast. I only know how upper hierarchy of the pack looks like. Maybe If I spot someone, I can tag along.

Suddenly, I remembered, when I studied the map layout of Royale Palace, I have seen staircases somewhere at the back.

I hurried towards them. I have feeling that the child is gonna be on 5th floor. As, it is the one which houses the Royal Beta, Royal Gamma and Royal Head Enforcer and Alfa Re at highest level.

As, Alfa Re will not be there, so it means that Luna Regina and heir is gonna be at Beta's floor. I hurriedly made my way to 5th floor.

It was huge but it was quite easy to decipher Royal Beta's wing as it has demarcation.

The Royal Beta's wing was being guarded by 2 guards and there is no way in the hell that I can take them down. I need tranquilizers for that.

I put hand in my pocket and pulled out two darts. I am on sideways to them hidden in adjacent corridor. I will only get 2 seconds to get down the another after done with first. This is usually the maximum respond period of a trained guard in Royale Military.

I prayed hard and fired both the darts simultaneously without waiting for the first to hit target. After few seconds they fell down.

I made my way to the door and found an electric keypad. Gosh! I possibly cannot guess password and wrong password will trigger the alarm. I connected my bluetooth and called Lily, as it was 08:30, I do have time to contact her.

"Lily, I need you to hack a electric security keypad for me." I muttered.

"Valentina, Tell me the model number." She murmured.

"Its K_12234." 

"Its designed by Kahil Enterprise. It is very hard to hack. Say almost inhackable." 

"We need to try." 

"Val, I know we need to but when someone tries to hack into it, it triggers the alarm set on the devices connected to it." I took a deep breath.

"Okay, tell me the password requirement for it." 

"It needs an 8 letter password, 1 Uppercase and 1 character mandatory."

"Royal Beta's name is Caine. He has two children. His mate is Fiona. What's his and his mate date of birth and his children as well?" I asked her.

She answered me after a bit. "How many attempts do I get?" I asked.

"Only 5."

"I am going to try and if I am caught or something. Mission depends on you guys." By now Kayne, Daphne were also on the line.

I entered for first three times. All wrong. I held my breath and entered his mate name with F in upper case followed by his and his children's name first letter and since Aiden, has so instead of I entered @, since he was youngest, so I added it at last and by luck the door opened.

"I am in, guys." I muttered, my breath heavy and I can listen to their relieved sighs.

I took out tranquilizer darts and proceeded inside. I had dulled my scent with perfume before coming here. I heard soft footsteps coming in my direction.

I saw a female entered the room. By her posture, I can easily tell she is not very well trained. I quickly moved out from my hiding place and attacked her. I held both her arms backward. She shrieked. I held her mouth.

"Listen to me." I shouted at her.

But she continued to struggle. If she did not calm her heart soon enough, it can alert her mate.

"I am not here to harm you." I told her. But, she did not listened and tried to bit my hand using her fangs. I did not let it faze me. I dragged her near the table and removed the table cloth and tied her hands after removing my hand from her mouth for a second.

Normally, with wolf strength she can easily tear the cloth but I had knotted in a way so that she cannot use her muscle force beyond her elbows. I used another cloth to tie her mouth and made her sit on sofa.

"Look, I am not here to harm you. If I wanted, I would have already killed you. But, I did not do so. Now, listen to me carefully, I have already inject you with wolfsbane you cannot mindlink with your mate or anyone. The life of Heir's is in danger. I am here to take him with me at a safe place. I know you don't have any reason to believe me but I am giving you a reason for me to believe you. I am giving you my real identity. I am Warrior Valentian Black from Sangue Lupos Pack. - Listening to my name her eyes widened. I see, she has heard about me from her mate- I did have intel on security breach but it turns out it is much more than that. Heir's life is danger and I am giving you a blood oath to protect him." I said cutting my palm with my knife and followed by her. I joined our palms and I murmured "I swear on my blood to protect Alfa Re's Hier with my life." I felt the bond taking place.

"You will take me to him, Now." I gestured and she led me to a room where a child of around 5 years was sleeping. He has the power raditing from him. The Hier to the Supernatural world. I kneeled at the foot of his bed and while once again cutting my palm I pleaded my life to protect his and let a drop of blood fall on his feet.

I don't know why but my protective feeling for him increased tenfold after this. I gently took him in my arms and while going I nodded at her in gratitude.

I locked the door on my way back. I hide the face of child in my blazer and left from there. 

"Kayne, meet me at Palace backyard, now. You are leaving to our pack with Heir." I muttered through the bluetooth. Thank God, we have gone over possible blindspots for security and I have scourge the ground sometime before.

"But that was not the plan." He increidously murmured.

"It is now." I asserted.

There was my car parked at backyard extension hidden in bushes, in cases of emergency and I guess emergency is now. The blind spots of the camera at backyard have been rehearsed by us and it is coming quiet handy now.

Kayne met me after 5 minutes at backyard.

"Kayne, give me a blood oath to protect him with your life." I mutterd as soon as he reach. He did as he was told.

"Get out of the territory and take him to your house. He has been asleep. If he wakes up handle him. A scratch on his body and you will be dead." I told him while falshing my wolf eyes at him.

"Ok. What about here?" He questioned.

"I will handle it." I muttered.

With that I placed the child in backseat and bid them bye. I kissed the child on his forehead. I feel way too connected to him and I don't even know why. The connection is celestial and overpowering. 

They left and I planned on ruining the whole food available, it is around 8:50. I have 20 minutes to destroy the all available food and water in here. That is our estimated time for rogues to reach here, the same time the Alpha's start making their appearance at Palace from guest houses.

I hope I succeeds in Plan 2.
