Rin hadn’t been to school in four days.

Four days since he ran off into the night with bruises around his neck and panic in his eyes.

Two days until the Shirakiba Wolves were set to face their next match, against one of the most formidable opponents this season: the Minazuki Dragons.

Taiga sat in the meeting room, elbows resting on his knees, hands loosely clasped together. His eyes didn’t stray from the floor for long. Not with her standing up front.

Izumi stood before them, giving her usual stern, instructive address, like she wasn’t the reason their captain was missing.

Like she hadn’t crawled back into Takuri’s life and cracked it open like an old wound.

And Takuri… well, Taiga didn’t even want to look at him. But he did.

He looked like hell.

Eyes sunken, lips pale, hair messier than usual. He hadn’t shaved, and he looked like sleep hadn’t touched him in days. Good. He didn’t deserve comfort.

Taiga sighed quietly.

He was trying, really trying, to keep his expres

  • Aligned Fantasy   Taiga And His Luna.

Linking with his Luna wasn’t supposed to be easy. Taiga knew that. Everyone always said it was the hardest thing a Luna could do, because it wasn’t just physical, it was a complete surrender of self. Still, he hadn’t expected it to feel like this. He lay in bed, sheets twisted around his bare legs, body slick with sweat. The room felt like a furnace, the air heavy with his pheromones. Heat pulsed through every nerve, relentless waves pounding his body as though trying to split him open from the inside. And yet, through it all, he forced himself to stay awake. He wasn’t going to lose consciousness. Not tonight. Normally, when any secondary gender entered heat or rut, the primary gender slipped back, became dormant, letting the secondary drive the body until the cycle ended. It was nature’s way of surviving something so brutal. But for a Luna, things were different. If he wanted to truly link with his Luna, if he wanted total control and communication between both parts of himself, h

Trigger warning: This scene contains Non consexual sex, Do proceed with caution! The ride to Takuri’s apartment had been a blur of panic and resistance. Rin remembered every second of it, the grip on his wrist, iron and unyielding, the way Takuri all but shoved him into the passenger seat, the harsh silence broken only by his own ragged breaths. The doors had locked automatically. There was no escape. When the car finally stopped, Rin had barely opened his mouth to protest before he was yanked out, his body stumbling, dragged like prey by the predator he once thought he understood. Inside, Takuri’s apartment smelled of clean leather and faint cologne. Too polished. Too suffocating. Rin’s pulse hammered in his ears. “Takuri—stop! You can’t just—” His voice cracked, but the words died when Takuri turned, eyes burning that deep Enigma glow, his jaw set with something primal. Izumi was there. Sitting elegantly on a chair, a glass of red wine in hand, her legs crossed. Watching. W

Taiga was shocked, worry written boldly across his face. Was Dante dying? What had become of him? “Do you love my son?” Phoebe asked, her sharp eyes fixed on him. “Apparently, he confides in my butler more than he does his own mother.” She gave a strained laugh, bitter at the edges. “Aoki says he confided in him one night. My son had asked what he would have done if the person he loves doesn’t love him back.” She sighed, her expression faltering. Taiga’s eyes widened. He dragged his hands down his face, remembering that night, the silly game they’d played, the word that had sat at the tip of his tongue. He hadn’t wanted to spit it out, hadn’t wanted to let his Luna surrender so easily. “If the feelings I have are one-sided, then I’d love them more than anyone has ever loved them, even if it kills me. That was the reply that damned butler gave him,” Phoebe continued. She gave a short chuckle and shook her head in disdain. “Why? Why does my love affect him so badly? I accepted

Phoebe laughed softly. “Maya understands the both of you better than you both do. I’ve always taken an interest in that boy. But he wasn’t a good match for Dante alone. He knows and understands his place. Maya is the buffer in your relationship. If he wasn’t there, and my airhead of a son really wanted to chase you… let’s just say that’s not something you want to experience. “Taiga, you might be at the top of the food chain, even higher than my son, but an Enigma is a lost cause.” Taiga’s face twisted in confusion. Phoebe sighed, shaking her head. “Let me explain better.” She gestured toward a bench nearby. Reluctantly, Taiga followed, and the two of them sat. “The system is weird,” Phoebe began. “An Omega sits at the bottom of the food chain. Yet an Elite Prime Luna, which is just a higher-level Omega, sits at the very top. Why is that?” She didn’t wait for his answer. “Evolution can only happen with an Alpha-type and Omega-type pair. Meaning, if a male Enigma mates with

The days had dragged on, slow and heavy, each one stitched with worry that never seemed to fade. Taiga had tried to drown himself in training, pushing his body until sweat stung his eyes and his lungs burned. But no matter how many shots he took or how many sprints across the court he forced himself through, the weight on his chest only grew heavier. Rin still hadn’t answered his calls. Every message remained on read. Every attempt at contact met with silence. His thoughts were crowded, tangled. His pack issues, his fractured relationship with his mates, none of it felt like something worth holding onto anymore. He was getting fed up. With a sharp curse, he shoved his phone into his pocket. “Fuck.” Running a hand through his sweat-soaked hair, he stepped out of the gym and began heading home. The streets smelled of wet concrete, the kind of thick humidity that promised rain. But his thoughts didn’t ease. They circled back again and again to the bruise Dante had left on his thro

Tatsuya paced the training hall, veins straining in his neck. Remembering Dante pissed him off. He needed a target. He needed to strike. And Murasame was there. Towering, indifferent, his very presence stoked the inferno. “You think you’re better than everyone, don’t you?” Tatsuya spat, stepping up to him. His chest heaved, his fists tight at his sides. “You think because you’re big, because you’re strong, you can control everyone around you. You’re no different from Dante.” Murasame’s eyes narrowed. “Watch it.” “Or what?” Tatsuya barked. His voice broke into a roar. “You’ll crush me the way he crushed Taiga? You’ll choke me too, see if I bow down?” Murasame stiffened, the vein in his temple throbbing. His massive hands flexed once, then curled into fists at his side. The silence stretched, thick and sharp as glass. For once, Murasame’s silence wasn’t laziness or indifference. He truly loved Tatsuya, Dante just had to up and ruin everything further by hurting their pack le
