Chapter 10

After a few more days, I was happy that the house was completely renovated and immediately sold out. I recalled that the road I used to take to get to my primary school was near an orphanage home owned by Catholics. It had a lot of orphans and disabled children who were struggling to make their ends meet. For a long time now, it had always been my dream to do something beneficial for them. With good grace, this was their lucky day.

Our flight was up by 12 so I had enough time to go and make my anonymous donation before departing. The boys drove me to the orphanage, where I dropped the bag with the money, rang the bell, and then sped away from the building before anyone could spot me. After a short while, I noticed three nuns approaching the gate and picking up the luggage while still seeking for the person who had left it there.

Whatever they planned to do with the money was none of my business but I was just glad I just did something meaningful.
