Brayden carried Jada into his bedroom, locking his door as he sat her down. “Now, for the moment I’ve been looking most forward to. He started toward her, and she playfully ran from him, playing hard to get. He chased her around the room, finally catching her and picking her up in his arms, spinning around with her and falling down on the bed with her under him.

Jada laughed until she saw the lustful gaze he gave her. She cupped his face with her hands and kissed him. Brayden deepened the kiss, tasting the sweetness of her tongue and her soft lips. “I love you, Jada,” he told her. His confession surprised her. She stared at him and smiled with tears of joy gathering in her eyes. “I love you too,” she said, wrapping her arms around his neck as they kissed.

“I think I should take this expensive gown off, don’t you think so?” She asked, teasing him. “I can help you with that, My Love,” he offered, raising up off her. She allowed him to unzip her gown and she carefully removed it, laying it gently across a chair.

“I may need help getting this tux off as well,” he teased, standing in front of her. “Of course, My husband, let me help you,” she said, smiling as she helped him undress. They carefully laid his tux over the chair as well.

Brayden smiled at his wife, thinking how perfect and sexy her body was in her white satin camisole and matching panties. He took her by the hand and led her by the hand to the bed. “Come with me, Love, let’s get those uncomfortable things off you,” he teased. “Oh, I’m fine, I’m actually quite comfortable,” she teased.

“Get over here, you little tease,” he said, pulling her down on the bed with him. He knew she was modest, so he left her camisole to cover her, but slid her panties down as he planted kisses all over her chest.

Jada was nervous, so Brayden took his time and was gentle with his innocent bride. He smiled and looked into her eyes as she submitted to him completely, allowing him to make love to her.

Brayden woke up to his sweet Jada snuggled against him. He smiled and played with her hair, kissing her temple. She woke up and smiled at him, hugging his chest. He caressed her back and they just rested together enjoying their comfort in each others' arms.

“Excuse me,” she said, grabbing his robe off the bed and going to the bathroom to freshen up. While she was gone, he called the kitchen staff and ordered their breakfast brought to his room. The last thing he wanted this morning was to deal with his mother and Daphne.

The maid knocked and Brayden pulled on a robe, unlocking the door. She handed him a nice tray with enough food for both of them and coffee. Jada came out of the bathroom wearing his robe and was happy to see that breakfast was delivered. He set everything up for them at a small table and two chairs by the window. He pulled the curtains to let the light in and give her a view of the garden while they ate.

“We won’t stay here; we will take our things over to the old mansion this afternoon. But I think I should take my wife on a honeymoon,” he said. “Where would you like to go, Sweetheart?” He asked, taking her hand and looking into her eyes. “Hawaii?” She asked. “I was thinking the same thing!” He said, surprised at the coincidence.

“I’ll call Auntie and see if maybe she can keep the kids a few more days,” she offered. “Let’s take them with us!” He suggested. Jada was shocked. “This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for them. I know you guys never had a vacation. Let them go and enjoy it. And Auntie can help with the kids, so we will take her along as well,” he suggested.

Jada could not believe this wonderful man she married. He was so thoughtful, she determined.

Jada rose from her seat and came to sit on Brayden’s lap, putting her arms around his neck and kissing him. “You are the most thoughtful man in the world Brayden DeRoya,” she told him. “That’s not what you said when you first met me. I think you said I was rude and didn’t have the common courtesy to look at you,” he teased. “I didn’t want any part of her contract. I didn’t want to be there,” he admitted.

“But once I met this spunky girl who told me off and could hold her own with me, I was intrigued,” he admitted. “You called me a’ sperm donor’, and you said you didn’t want my sperm in you even for a moment,” he reminded her, laughing. “Because you were being rude and obnoxious,” she argued. “Well…. you didn’t complain last night,” he teased. Jada covered her blushing face with her hands. Brayden chuckled, pulling his adorable little wife up closer in his arms and kissing her.

Brayden made the arrangements for their trip which included a flight from New York to San Diego, a night’s stay there, a four-day cruise to Hawaii, six nights on the islands, then a flight back to San Diego and one back to New York. “So, in all it’ll be 14 days,” he told her. Jada was so excited. She had dreamed of going to Hawaii all her life, never thinking it would ever actually happen.

“Thank you, Brayden,” she said, appreciating his generosity. “Sweetheart, you are married to me now. Anything you want, it’s yours. You want the moon? I’ll get it for you,” he promised, quoting a famous movie line. She put her hands on his chest and stood on tiptoe kissing him again. She could reach him in heels, but barefoot it took a little stretch to reach him, she realized.

“Let’s go shopping for my pretty lady,” he suggested. He had her overnight bag brought up, and they changed into dress clothes to go to New York City to shop. Jada styled her hair and applied makeup and jewelry. She wasn’t used to dressing up so nicely, but she knew that her wardrobe choices would drastically change now that she was a DeRoya. Whether Evelyn accepted her or not, she had to dress the part.

They came downstairs together and unfortunately were unable to slip out the door without running into Evelyn and Daphne. “Good morning, Son. Where are you going this morning?” Evelyn asked. “I’m taking my wife shopping for clothing,” he told her. “Maybe Daphne and I should join you. After all, this girl knows nothing about fashion,” Evelyn said. “So true,” Daphne chimed in.

“I think we can manage quite well by ourselves,” he told them. “Monday we will be leaving. We will be gone for fourteen days on our honeymoon. Daphne, I hope you will have finished your visit by then and be gone when we return,” Brayden told his ex-wife with an irritated tone. Evelyn was talking to Brayden while Daphne walked up to Jada and eyed her up and down. “You may not know how to please a man, but I do. You are temporary here, so don’t get used to it. Evelyn will get rid of you and Brayden will come back to me,” she said, harassing her.

“First off, if you knew how to please him, he would still be with you. Second, Brayden loves me, and he says I’m here to stay. And third, even if I leave, Brayden will never come back to you because he despises you,” Jada told the woman. Daphne pulled her hand back to slap Jada, but Brayden caught her hand in the air. “Keep your mouth and your hands off my wife, Daphne. I’m warning you. Touch her and you’ve had a bad day,” he said in a stern voice.

Brayden took Jada in the gold tone limo with Gerard driving them. Brayden told him to take them to New York City to the garment district. He bought her four dresses, four pant suits, two suit dresses, a long coat and a couple of jackets in addition to shoes, purses and accessories. They laughed and had fun as she tried on outfits and shoes in front of him. He smiled at his adorable wife. She was so fun and lively, and he was proud of way she stood up to Daphne.

They called Gerard to come pick them up with all their bags and then he took them to an outdoor café. They ordered pizza and sodas and laughed, talking about their day. “We leave Monday morning for our trip, so we may want Auntie and the kids to come stay at the Old Mansion with us Sunday night,” Brayden told Jada. “I’m so excited about this, Brayden. Thank you so much!” She told him. “You’re welcome, my sweet girl. There’s a jewelry store here, let me buy you something shiny and pretty,” he suggested. “Brayden, honey, you’ve bought me plenty of jewelry today with my outfits,” she protested. “Yes, but I want a special piece for my wedding gift to you,” he said, taking her by the hand and urging her to follow him.

Brayden chose a one carat teardrop white sapphire pendant on a white gold chain. “It brings out the blue in your beautiful hazel eyes,” he said, admiring her. He had already bought her white sapphire earrings for the wedding, so they were a perfect match for the necklace. “You are spoiling me, Brayden,” she warned. “Pretty Lady, I have only begun to spoil you,” he promised, pressing a kiss to her temple as he walked with his arm around her shoulders.

Since it was such a busy day, Brayden promised to bring her sightseeing another day. She had never been to the city until Brayden took her shopping for her wedding gown. They were already tired today, though. Once they got in the limo, they both drank a bottle of water straight down. Brayden reached for her legs and brought them up over his lap. “I love these legs. They are two of my favorite parts of you, Pretty Lady,” he said, feeling the softness of them. He caressed her legs as she snuggled against him. He brushed away a tendril of her shiny chestnut mane from her face and stared at her. “You are so beautiful, my sweet bride,” he said, caressing her jaw.

Brayden came closer for a sensual kiss and Jada responded, kissing him back as she wrapped her arms around his neck. “And you are so so handsome, my sweet groom. Thank you for everything today. You are just too good to me. Wait til Evelyn sees how much you spent on me today,” she said, grinning. Brayden chuckled. “She won’t be nearly as offended as Daphne,” he said, giving her a toothy grin in return. “Oh, I’m sure that’s right,” she nodded in agreement.

“I have a feeling she will still be there when we return from our honeymoon, Jada. That will give her and my mom plenty of time to plot and plan against us,” he said. “I will not allow them to cause you any trouble when I’m around. But I worry about you when I’m not there with you. Those two are bad news together,” he said, cupping her chin with a worried look.

“My sweet husband, I’m a girl from the Bronx. I can take care of myself. Trust me. And God won’t let anything they say or do against me to harm me. He’s got my back,” she assured him, pressing a kiss on his lips. Brayden smiled and pulled her over onto his lap, kissing her seductively.

“Gerard?” He said through the intercom. “Sir?” Gerard answered. “Take us for a ride. Take the Garden State Parkway. And Gerard? Turn your music up,” Brayden told him, grinning at his wife. “What are you doing, Mr DeRoya?” Jaden asked, suspiciously. Brayden started pulling off her panties and laying her down.

“Brayden! Someone will see us!” She scolded. “Mirror windows, they can’t see in,” he told her, devouring her neck and shoulders.

Jada wasn’t as nervous or tense this time, and she responded well to him. Brayden loved on his wife, savoring the feel of her body in bliss. To his delight, Jada seemed to enjoy their union as well.

After they straightened their clothes, Brayden pushed the button for Gerard. “Yes, Sir,” Gerard answered. “Is there an ice cream shop around? I need a cool treat. And let’s have some air. It’s hot in here,” he said, winking at Jada. She shook her head at his naughtiness. “You want an ice cream?” He asked. “Sure, why not?” She answered.

Gerard took them to an ice cream parlor and chose their hard iced cream flavors in waffle cones and sat outside to eat them. Jada got salted caramel and Brayden got salted chocolate, but they gave each other tastes. Brayden came in for another bite of her ice cream and she surprised him by bopping him on the nose with it, getting ice cream on his nose.

“Why you little vixen!” He teased, trying to do the same to her, but she turned her face, and he ended up smearing the chocolate across her cheek. They laughed and played like children as Gerard waited in the car, watching them and smiling at their antics.

Gerard thought back to when Daphne was with Brayden. There was never any spontaneity and fun with those two. They were rarely together, but when they were, Brayden always looked miserable, and Daphne was always complaining about something or on her phone, ignoring him completely. He enjoyed watching these two. They were always having fun and enjoying their time together.

Gerard knew Mrs. DeRoya did not like the new bride, but she had brought freshness and life into the mansion and made Brayden smile continuously, so the staff were all happy with Jada. None of them liked Daphne, so her visit was not welcome in anyone’s eyes but Mrs. DeRoya’s. She only wanted her there to cause Jada trouble, the older man thought.

Brayden offered Gerard an ice cream cone, but he said he was diabetic, so he would rather not. Brayden had always been kind to all their servants and treated them with respect. Most of them had been with him since he was born. Brayden opened the door for Jada and greeted Gerard, telling him they were ready to go home. He told the man that the couple planned to move into the old mansion the next day, and Gerard said that he would make sure the staff knew and made plans.

Jada snuggled up close to Brayden against his chest and fell asleep. He held her sleeping form and dozed off himself. They were both tired from their busy day shopping. Gerard opened the door and smiled when he saw them sleeping in each other’s arms. He said a silent prayer for them that their marriage would forever be so strong. “Sir, Mam, we are at the mansion,” he informed them. They woke up and laughed with Gerard about falling asleep. “If I may say so, Mam, it looks like you two had a very busy day, so it’s understandable you would be tired,” he said as the two exited the vehicle.

Brayden came in smiling, holding onto Jada. They laughed and joked, carrying their bags upstairs. “Son, I want to talk to you,” Evelyn called out to him. “Later, Mom, I’m busy,” he said, chasing Jada upstairs. “Their behavior is abhorrent! That girl is making him lose his manners,” Evelyn told Daphne. But Daphne was busy watching the newlyweds running playfully upstairs and becoming furious. He was not supposed to fall for that girl, she said to herself, fuming.

Jada was feeling unusually industrious that day while Brayden was at work. She decided to hang some wallpaper in the baby’s room. She put Ben in the rocker seat in his crib so he could watch her. She made silly faces and talked to him while she worked. He was almost a month old now, so he was becoming more alert and looking around, making noises and blowing bubbles. Jada loved her little boy and couldn’t wait to give birth to his brother. She climbed upon a stepladder and was hanging a piece of wallpaper, but she couldn’t quite reach the corner. She stretched as far as she could, but her foot slipped, and she felt herself falling. But suddenly, she felt herself being swooped up into strong arms. She opened her eyes to see that Brayden had come in not a second too late to catch her in flight. “Mrs. DeRoya, what in the world are you doing 9 months pregnant and tip toeing on a ladder?” Brayden scolded. Jada smiled at him and wrapped her arms around his neck. “Me and Ben were hanging

Daphne went into labor that next morning, on January 16th. She talked the doctor into doing a C-section, not wanting to go through the pain of labor. Brayden, Evelyn, Jada and Caleb waited in the waiting room. Caleb sat alone, not speaking to anyone as he waited to hear about his cousin. Brayden walked over to him. “Listen, Caleb, let’s turn over a new leaf. I’m willing to let go of you trying to tap into my financial records and give you a second chance if you promise to be honest and trustworthy from now on,” Brayden said. Caleb looked up at Brayden and saw his sincerity. He shook Brayden’s hand and assured him he could trust him. I won’t let you down, Brayden. Thank you,” he said, smiling at him. “So, this means you will contract my company for the Bronx housing developments, then?” Caleb asked. Brayden nodded and told him to meet him at his office on Monday to discuss terms of their contract. Caleb smiled and thanked Brayden once more, happy to have acquired the bid. He ca

Both Jada and Daphne were nine months pregnant now, and Evelyn was anxiously awaiting both babies. Brayden and Jada came to join them for dinner that evening. Brayden waited until they finished their meal of pepper steak over rice with peach cobbler and ice cream for dessert. They retired to the living room for their hot tea to relax and talk. “Mom, Daphne, Jada and I want to discuss something with you both. This baby that you’re about to have, Daphne. It’s my child too. I know that, unless you have changed, you are not the nurturing type. That’s why you aborted our baby when we were married. I propose that we adopt this baby and raise the siblings together,” he began. “I will give you significant compensation for yourself. Then, you can go wherever you want and be unencumbered with a child to drag along with you. The child remains with his father and his grandmother, and Jada has two sons. It’s a win win situation for all of us,” he suggested.“I won’t sue you or the doctor f

The day had come for Brayden, Tandra and twenty other staff members to move into the Bronx facility. Jada was invited to come to the going away party. Marilou now had a secretarial position, working for Carl. He had a male Administrative Assistant, but she was secretary to both of them. Collin was Carl’s assistant, and Marilou liked working for him. He was tall and thin, pale, clean-shaven and openly homosexual. Carl was not concerned, though, because they were both happily married men. Collin’s husband Dewayne also worked as a secretary in their office. Marilou and Collin had formed a friendship and good work relationship. She looked forward to a good friendship with the couple. There were three other secretaries on their floor, and so far, Marilou got along with them all. One girl she kept her eyes on, though. Danica was very pretty, very shapely, and very interested in Carl. She took every opportunity to take things to his office or stop him to ask questions. Carl wasn’t in

Weeks had gone by since the uncomfortable dinner at the mansion. Evelyn texted Brayden, asking him to come for a visit. Jada decided to stay home this time and let him visit on his own. She knew that Evelyn would prefer that, anyway. Brayden kissed his mother’s cheek and greeted her, telling her he had missed her. “I’m surprised you were able to take time out of your busy schedule to grace me with your presence,” she scolded, lifting her chin in the air. “I’m sorry, Mom, forgive me for my lack of attention,” he said, bringing her a birthday gift. She gave him a sideways gaze, but couldn’t prevent her smile at him. It was a beautiful gold bangle bracelet with white gold decorative inlay and tiny diamonds in a row. Evelyn immediately put the bracelet on, shaking it in the light. “Oh, Son! It’s so beautiful! Thank you so much!” She said, hugging him. “Please stay and have lunch with us,” she asked hoping he would. Daphne joined them, and was very pleased that Jada and her family

Jada texted Brayden that she and Marilou were taking the kids school shopping. “Sure, Sweetheart. What is “school shopping”? He asked. She explained what she thought was common knowledge, but then, Brayden went to a private school with school uniforms, so she supposed he would not have any knowledge of what “regular people” did. For the first time in their lives, she was able to take them to the nice clothing places to buy their school clothes. They went to Abercrombie and Fitch, Aeropostale, Nike, American Eagle, Gap, Hollister, Old Navy and Pac Sun. The children had so much fun, getting all their favorite looks. They ate lunch at the mall, and then went to Target for notebooks, backpacks and all the rest. Jada thanked God that she didn’t have to shop at a secondhand store for their shoes and clothing and get their supplies free from a church this year. Last year had been the hardest ever for their finances. “Thank you, Lord, for coming to our rescue when we needed you the most,”

Brayden confronted Caleb about his efforts to tap into his financial records. He told him that he now knew what plans he had in mind, so he would not be doing business with him. Caleb tried to lie his way out of it, but Brayden would not hear his lies. Brayden told Caleb also to pack his bags, he would not be welcome in the mansion any longer. He had his bodyguards throw him out of the building. Caleb was highly upset, vowing to himself that he would find a way to bring Brayden down. Brayden called Hobart and informed him that Caleb was not permitted to enter the mansion and instructed him to put his belongings at the outside gate. Tandra watched from her window as the man was thrown out of the building, and she smiled, glad that Brayden kicked him out of the building. “Tandra, could you come in here, please?” Brayden asked over the intercom. Tandra came to his office, wondering what he needed. Brayden gave her a $10,000 spending card for taking quick action and preventing Caleb

Marilou and Carl had got a separate room and spent time alone, having a honeymoon of their own. They went to Lolani Palace and Wailua Falls as well as just quiet dinners and walks on the beach. Marilou fell deeper in love with her husband as they spent romantic days and nights together. On their last day, they all met together for breakfast at the hotel restaurant. They gave each other hugs and shared their experiences. Charity asked if Marilou would be moving into a castle with her Prince Carl. “Well, right now we are moving into his apartment, but maybe one day we may build our own castle, Sweetie,” she told the child. “Will you still come see us?” She asked, realizing that she wouldn’t be as involved in their lives anymore. “Oh Sweetie, of course I will! I will come see you and have dinner with you once a week, how’s that?” Marilou promised. “What day?” Charity asked. “How about this? On Sundays, we go to Sunday school and then we all get together for lunch afterwards. How doe

They arrived on Big Island, Hawaii in the afternoon. The native Hawaiian ladies put flower leis on them and said Aloha as they came off the cruise ship at Kua Bay. A local greeter came up to them and took a picture of them all, then offered to drive them to their hotel. Brayden agreed, so they got into a mini van and went to the Four Seasons resort at Hualalai. They decided to take a quick nap to prepare themselves for an Island tour that evening. Once they got up from their naps, they went on the tour. The tour director Maurice took them on a guided tour to see the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Rainbow Falls, Thurston Lava Tube, the Halema’uma’u Crater Overlook and ended with a stop at Big Island Candies store for some sweets to take home. That evening, the group enjoyed a meal at Roy’s Waikiki’s Bar &Grill. Brayden and Carl dined on Szechuan-style baby back ribs, but Jada and Marilou chose the Curry Seared Ahi Tuna. The children, not feeling so adventurous, dined on burger
