"Zain, leave the poor girl alone!" My mother snapped to my father.

"I'm just saying that this boy will ruin his future with her, Katherine." Dad sneered. "She's not good for him."

I was seething.

"You know what, Dad? Have you ever thought what was best for me? What was best for my future? No. Then back the hell up. Helena is my mate and I will not take anymore of your nonsense.
