CHAPTER 2

ALPHA ANDREW

"I heard Dennis Hotel has the most charming ladies for the night and treats their women well. But I guess that was a wrong remark, when you all are bullies!" I growled at the receptionist, who trembled under my Alpha aura.

She might not know it, but I was an Alpha wolf of the Dark Mountain Pack.

"I am sorry, sir. This woman is not among our groups of women. We have beautiful women available for your service. She just strayed in here, and I was only trying to show her out," the stubborn receptionist said, and my eyes wandered off to the beautiful young lady who stood aside, trembling.

She had long blonde hair that fell off her shoulders and reached her waist. Her body was trembling from the cold night wind, and my beta, Steven, mind-linked me.

"Alpha, we got the wrong description about the Dennis Hotel. Maybe we should look for another hotel to lodge for the night," Steven Weston said through our mind-link, but I refused.

"No. I am already here, and I cannot leave. We only arrived to seal the deal with the Human Ruler, and I cannot leave without experiencing the pleasure that I deserve. Let's stay for tonight. Besides, the rainfall is still too much to drive at this hour," I waved Steven's remarks off, and he sighed.

"Understood, Alpha," he said.

"Sir, should I call on our ladies? You can make your choice," the receptionist's words brought me back to the present, but my eyes shifted to the lady who trembled and tried to wear her wet blue dress back.

"You do not have to wear that. It's soaked from the rain," I said, moving to stand next to her.

However, her citrus scent enveloped my nostrils, and I felt my wolf, Zion, stir within me.

"Oh no! She is a human. She cannot be our mate!" Zion growled in my head, but I stilled and ignored his remarks.

I wasn't thinking about finding my mate. I was 28, and my parents wouldn't stop bothering me about marrying Beta Richard's daughter, Zoey Leonard.

"She is not our mate. She is a human. Let's just have the pleasure that we desire and leave," I replied to Zion, but he felt uneasiness about mating with a human.

"Alpha, this is going to be a bad idea. A human woman cannot take your rut. And she's too skinny," Zion pointed out, but that only piqued my interest more.

"Just for a night, and we are done with her," I said, moving closer to meet the lady.

"I said you do not have to wear these wet clothes." I caught her hands as she reached to put on her blue dress. Her eyes widened at my closeness, and she blushed and staggered backward.

"You don't have to worry, sir. I will be fine," she replied, her voice like music in my ears.

I pulled off my black coat and draped it over her shoulders, as I could feel the stares of my men's eyes on me. Their eyes widened because they knew that I do not like to share my properties. Yet, I was offering my coat to the beautiful stranger.

Her cheeks flushed as she accepted my coat.

"Thank you, sir," she whispered as she stepped out of her blue dress, still in her orange bikini, and she draped my coat around her slender body and picked up her black bag and stuffed the blue dress inside.

"So, I heard that you're willing to sell your body for a night. I am on a long trip, and I just need a woman to enjoy my night with. What do you say about spending the night with me?" I offered, eager to explore her body.

"With me?" she asked in doubt. Her finger pointed at her chest like she had heard me wrongly.

"Yeah," I whispered, using my alpha aura to seduce her more. Though she was a human, I doubted my powers would have an effect on her.

"How much do you want to pay me?" she asked, her lips trembling as her enchanting blue eyes peered up at my face.

I stood taller in front of her broken features. The trace of tears was visible in her eyes, and I wondered what had happened before she came here. Did the receptionist bully her into leaving? I had never been smitten by a human before, and this was not my first time coming to the Human city for business collaboration as we ship it to the Dark Mountain Pack.

"How much do you desire for me to pay you?" I asked her, meeting her flushed face, and she lowered her head further like she had not charged a man before.

"Is this your first time?" I asked her, clearly amused by her blushing face.

"Um, no…" she tried to act brave, but the receptionist's sharp voice drew my attention.

"Sir, these are the series of hot ladies we have. You do not have to waste your time on that lady," the receptionist said, her voice booming in the lobby.

My mood darkened as I felt like strangling the receptionist's neck. But I held back and glared at her, and the five sexy women in red bikinis that she had brought. They all had big busts and extremely sexy waists and backsides.

The lady standing next to me lowered her head in shame when she saw the five new beautiful women that were summoned and arranged for me.

"No. I do not need any of them," I replied, my voice firm and loud enough to capture all their attention.

The five beautiful women in the lobby frowned, as they were all professional sex workers. Who would dare to reject them for the slender-looking woman standing next to me?

"Alpha," Steven whispered, trying to make me see the difference. "These women are plump like our women. They will be able to withstand your rut. But this woman is slim, and she might die from the pleasure."

A man in a black suit quickly strode into the lobby to welcome us.

"Welcome, sir. It was reported to me that an unknown woman is trying to pose as one of our ladies. But that's not true. We ensure to have our women tested to be sure they are not sick, infected, or criminals in disguise," the man said, his voice sounding serious.

"And you are?" I asked, peering at his face as he was a middle-aged man.

"I am Evan Morris, the manager of this Dennis Hotel. I can assure you, sir, that you will love our women if you get to choose any of them. But this woman is only a guest and not one of our professional sex workers," he replied, gesturing at the young lady who stood next to me.

However, I moved to meet the lady who was wearing my black coat and asked her, "Do you mind spending the night with me?"

Her cheeks flushed, and she lowered her head and nodded.

"Yes."

"Sir," the manager tried to talk me out of it, but I waved my hand in the air to silence him.

"That's enough. I will go with her. Arrange a room for us, or should I leave with her?" I asked, as I moved to scoop the young lady into my arms.

Her eyes widened in shock, but she rested her head against my chest. I could hear her heart racing louder in her chest. Her citrus scent enveloped me like a blanket.

"No, sir. This way," the manager said, and he gestured for me to follow him.

"Steven, fill in the registration," I said, as I made my way to the stairs and went upstairs with the manager, who showed me to a private room.

"This room," the manager said as he unlocked the door, and I thanked him and collected the key.

"Thank you."

Once I stepped into the room with the lady, I shut the door behind me, and I could feel her anxiety increasing as she became scared of me.
