Sorry guys, by the time I got home from my day trip, it was extremely late and I couldn't keep my eyes open. I had edited the final chapter of The Blood Moon Luna, so I posted that and went to bed. I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I will post another in a couple of hours. Thanks for reading! -A :)
Baylor POV I woke up pretty early this morning. I assumed that Kenneth would probably come to the packhouse when Phoebe did and I wanted to know how things went. I am not a creeper or anything, I generally apply the don’t ask don’t tell principal when it comes to the sex lives of my buddies. This was different though, I don’t want to know the dirty deet’s of their physical intimacy, I was curious about the marking part of it though. So hopefully before the packhouse becomes too busy for the morning, we can sit and talk. So I quickly showered and dressed for the day before heading down the stairs. As I walked into the kitchen to grab some coffee Kenneth was sitting on a stool watching Phoebe bustle around the room. “Good morning Alpha, would you like some coffee before we all have to head off to training?” Phoebe practically sang. They must have had a successful night, if her extra cheer was any indicator. “Sure Phoebe, but I can get it. You don’t have to wait on me,” I replied. “Non
Baylor POV To say that I am frustrated might be an understatement, however I am going to proceed under the assumption that there are just many things that are second nature to werewolves that they didn’t think about sharing them with me. I wouldn’t want to think that not being told about something would have anything to do with who I am, so I won’t let that seed of doubt grow. “I can see that you need to talk and the frustration is written all over your face, so out with it lad say what is on your mind,” Alpha Colin said. “Okay, I am supposed to be the leader here, the Alpha werewolf, right?” I asked. “You are the leader, the Alpha of the Skatom Mochain Pack,” Alpha Colin replied. “I have seen pack members take a knee and do this head tilt thing several times but don’t fully know what is going on there, so why don’t you start with that?” I said letting my frustration be heard in my words. “Taking a knee doesn’t always happen, but the offering of their neck in submission to their l
Siobhan POV Most people ignore me and have as far back as I can remember. That is fine with me because, if they aren’t ignoring me, they want something. Sometimes they want a servant, sometimes they want someone to punish for any number of things, and occasionally, it is for their own sexual pleasures. I didn’t lie when I told the Alpha that it wasn’t one of our pack members who forced themselves on me. They didn’t, but when we encountered some rogues, they did trade me to save their own skin. I don’t blame them for it, but now I have a pup to protect and I won’t be a scapegoat anymore. The new Alpha is young, but he is smart and fiercely protective of basic human rights and for that I am grateful. Sure I am aware that I am an Omega werewolf and supposed to be the pack ‘whipping girl’ but I have always felt deep inside that there was something more to my existence. Maybe that is why Selene brought the Alpha home, not only to fulfill his destiny, but for me to fulfill mine too. I do
Baylor POV The ladies all left after our meeting to take Siobhan pup shopping. Before leaving, Siobhan came to me and said that if it was going to cause trouble, they could go another time. I told her it wasn’t going to be any trouble at all, since I gave ‘permission’ in the first place. “B-b-but what about lunch A-a-alpha?” she had questioned. “We’ll make it all work out. Go have fun and take care of our pack’s first pup,” I told her. As I finished the statement the O’Hurley’s came into the pack house, “Lunch crew reporting for duty, Alpha,” they said in their usual creepy unison way. I looked at Siobhan and said, “See, all taken care of, now go and get the things you need. Once they had left Kenneth, the O’Hurley’s, and I got busy with lunch preparations. “Okay Kenneth’s culinary skills are lacking and mine are worse yet so how about we make soup and sandwiches, it shouldn’t be too hard to pull that off for just over 450 people,” I said when we entered the kitchen. The O’Hurley’s l
Baylor POV Alpha Colin and I walked around the territory during the afternoon looking at the different buildings that still remained to see what needed to be fixed with each one. “Baylor I forgot to tell you something. It isn’t a giant deal, but it was an oversight,” Alpha Colin said. ‘Great another thing to make me look stupid,’ I thought to myself. ‘No not stupid lad, but learning how to direct the mind-link is something you should learn sooner rather than later.’ I heard him say but his lips weren’t moving. My brows knit together and I looked at Alpha Colin in confusion. “Did you just mind-link me?” I asked out loud. ‘Yes, even though we aren’t pack mates, we can mind-link because we are both Alphas,’ he answered through the link. I shrugged and nodded, “Well that’s cool then.” “You’re doing just fine Baylor, the submission thing was absolutely the fault of Clive and I, something that neither of us had given much thought to. There will probably be other things as time goes on an
Baylor POV After dinner had been served and cleaned up, I sent Siobhan off to relax. She looked more tired than usual and I was concerned for her wellbeing. Kenneth and I got ready to leave the packhouse to check that everyone who had arrived today, had a place to sleep tonight. One of the younger pack members approached as I went to go through the door, “Um, Alpha Baylor sir?” the girl said in a squeaky little voice. I recognized her as one of the dancers from the night of the pack run, Lonnie, Lori, no Lizzy, that is her name. “How can I help you Lizzy? And please don’t call me sir,” I asked and asserted. “Sorry Alpha, I don’t mean to trouble you but the jacks is clogged.” What the heck did that mean? Is this kid goofy or what? “I’m sorry Lizzy, but did you just say the jacks is clogged?” I questioned. “Yes Alpha,” she squeaked. I have no clue what the hell this kid is talking about and I look around for anyone who can help me out. Siobhan is sitting on the sofa with her feet up an
Baylor POV After going back upstairs last night I decided that for now, my mattress was a dead loss, so I had Mitchum help me shove it through the window. I made due using the boxspring, using the clean linens I managed to find. It wasn’t as comfortable as the mattress had been, but it would do. This morning I was still pissed over the whole situation, so I decided to release some of my pent up anger and find out just how good this wolf healing stuff really was. “Dane, I’m in a shitty mood and I need a positive way to release. Will you spar with me this morning for training and don’t hold back?” His eyebrows rose in shock. “Alpha, are you sure that’s what you really want?” he asked skeptically. “I’m the Alpha and that means I am the boss, right?” I asked. “Yes of course Alpha, but…” he started to reply. “No buts Dane. If it makes you feel any better, I’m ordering you not to hold back,” I cut him off and insisted. “Ok Alpha, remember your posture and keep your hands up,” Dane remi
Baylor POV I avoided the packhouse the rest of the day after breakfast. I didn’t want to run into Delania again. Who knows what would happen next? She frustrates me beyond belief but she is beautiful and something happens when her tiny body is near mine. I lose rational thought and want to kiss her as much as I want to throttle her. That’s just not right. My damn wolf, Shammus doesn’t help matters. He randomly flashes pictures of Delania in my head. Sometimes it’s just her eyes, other’s it is her lips, but more often than not the horny bastard flashes images of what he believes she looks like naked. Alpha Colin mind-linked me to let me know the supplies for our temporary housing structures had arrived. So I am heading to the site where we decided the structures would make the most sense as both housing and then for their later uses. When I arrived at the site, I didn't know what I was expecting to see, but I didn't think I would see a pallet with bags of concrete and four neat pi
