White Wolf’s POV

Blood made me happy.

An enemy's blood? Ecstasy!

The only reason I was not taking Damon on like I'd have loved was because of my heart injury. Oh, that bastard Lucas! Now that was some real competition.

In wolf, the injury couldn't show, but I was beginning to feel signs.

I'd waited all day for someone to come, but I guess they'd gotten all of the men I came with.

The others had instructions to arrive by midnight.

Determined not to let Damon know where it hurts, I wrung life out of his neck.

It felt good to see the big bad wolf’s eye go from dark blue with a gold slit, to plain black.

When I'd satisfied myself, I let him drop to the ground.

I felt my heartbeat getting slower. Judging from the position of the moon, it was still over an hour till midnight.

I was breaking cold sweat, my vision had taken a bit too.

The moon glowed high above, swollen and red as blood

In my pain, I laughed hysterically. Even the Moon Goddess was ready to receive Damon.

I crash

Damon's POV “Good morning.” Emily greeted, as she walked into the office on leopard skin pumps. She looked very bright and full of life. I, on the other hand, was barely holding up. I'd seen better days. “Good morning Emily.” I greeted her. “I'll have someone bring you up to speed up with everything that has happened.” “That's kind, thank you.” She smiled briefly. “Anytime.” I acknowledged, staring and holding her eyes a little longer than usual. But they'd lost the glow they used to have for only me. Or maybe it was still there, just not for me anymore. “Want some coffee?” I asked her, breaking the ice that was slowly building. “Coffee, yes. But no company.” She stated. “Asides me, of course. I'll have it delivered to my office. Be there in three.” I said and walked away. That single statement made my testosterone levels soar. I was beginning to feel like a man in her presence, and she didn't fight it. Well even if she'd tried to, I was far gone. I'd long

Damon's POV “I'm done with you two.” I said to Lucas and Adrian. “It's been a not so good afternoon, and I'm overdue for some alone time.” “It's a bit loud in here.” The voice, angelic, subtle, gentle, but very familiar, spoke. Everyone fell to silence. I literally watched and saw Lucas’ rage fading away. The air was lighter, like we all didn't have the intention of killing each other. She looked at us, but beyond us. I really can't explain it. She still hadn't changed out of her nightwear. “How are you?” She asked, still with the distant look on her face. “Which of us are you referring to?” Lucas smiled. One would've thought he'd keep his big mouth shut. The gathering was already so awkward, and the atmosphere, pensive. But the only person who looked fazed was me. Adrian stood and looked at her like he'd never seen her before. Lucas’ lips were still parted, ready to give a reply to whatever reply she gave him. “Anyone who wants to answer me.” She replied soft

Adrian's POV “As much as I hate to do this…” Damon started his address. “I saw her outside though. You are really good at this caring thing. Wish Zyna would've experienced it.” Lucas smirked. “I was afraid you'd say something stupid the moment I saw you walking in.” Damon took a deep breath. At least someone irks him more than I do. “I'm just saying.” Lucas added. “Please don't say. Refrain from ‘saying’ when it comes to my personal life.” Damon added fortifications. “Emily's is my personal life too.” Lucas said and sucked his teeth, before falling into a chair. “Back to why we are here.” Damon summoned all the attention in the room. “I have reason to believe that I don't think you both are handling things well.” “What are said reasons?” I asked. “They are a lot, Adrian, but I'd start with the fact that the mayors/mayors have not exactly been doing their job. I drive around and I see a lot of neglected places.” Damon said. “Damon, the merge has just been

Damon's POV (Two months later.) “Hey you.” Emily interrupted, “I thought it weird that you'd be out here all alone.” He said, drawing her night gown around herself. Subconsciously, I did the same. “My therapist says she thinks the air is good for me. I'm getting better, in here.” I tapped my temple. “That sounds good.” She nodded. “Do you have a minute?” She asked. “Sure. Here, sit.” I stood up from a swing I had installed in the garden. “No, you don't have to do that. I'm terribly comfortable being on my feet. My sides, and backside are sore.” Emily refused. “if you insist.” I sat back down, looking at her. She was beginning to look like the Emily I used to know. Her hair had just started to grow evenly, or maybe it was one of the nurses playing salon with her. She looked so pretty out in the daylight. “I wanted to say thank you, for everything.” She started, staring down at her feet. “You don't have to…” I objected. “No, please. Please just let me speak

  • Alpha Damon And Emily, His Contract Luna    Chapter 140

Damon's POV “Will you be by yourself sir?” Frank asked, crooning his neck to see inside of the car. “Yes.” I replied to him. It was quite uncharacteristic of him to lean on the door, but he was. “Are you drunk?” I asked him. “I only had a glass, Sir.” He smiled widely. “Get off. I need to be somewhere.” I said impatiently. “Miss Emily…” He slurred. “She's in good hands.” I cut him off. “No. I mean, it's good to have her back.” He winked at me. I was feeling a hundred emotions, but it didn't stop what he did from being funny. “Alright. Get off.” I honked. The blare was harsh enough to do the job, and so he dragged himself away. I would've taken up a case against him, but I know he deserved a break, even if it's just one day. “Don't let anyone in when I'm gone. That's an order.” I said before zooming off. “Yes sir.” He saluted. I sped off fast, fast enough to have gone too far before changing my mind on what I was set to do. “Never mess with me ag
