Alessia's POV

“What was all that about?” She asked the first thing when she woke up.

“Don't you want to know where we are?”

“How are you feeling?” I asked her.

She got up and leaned down on the headrest. “Tell me how it went?” She asked.

“We could only capture one of them who had fainted,” I explained.

"At least it is better than having nothing on them,” she muttered, looking slightly disappointed.

“I see you are upset,” I pointed out.

“What do you think?” She snapped.

I raised my eyebrows at that.

Taking a deep breath, I went and sat on the bed beside her. When I tried to hold her hand, she pulled it back.

“I know I should have informed you beforehand but everything happened so fast. Last night you were drugged. When I returned after meeting Alpha Trevor, you were not in your senses. You woke up this morning and you know the rest” I stated.

She looked deep in thought before giving in.

“Why did Alpha Trevor inform us on such a short notice?” She fumed angrily.
