Roman told me how Layla had been mistreating everyone after Aramis left. It bothered me greatly that the she-wolf to whom my mate had shown so much respect had turned against everything and everyone because she believed she was entitled to more.

And then my son told me all about her actions, including her threats and evil behavior toward my babies.

I was beyond enraged. My heart was pumping so much blood that I felt like the stream of blood would pour out of my nose and eyes.

"She had the nerve to think she could mistreat my babies and get away with it," I grunted angrily, making tight fists and getting on my feet to pay this bitch a visit.

I marched out of the room and bolted to Layla’s room in anger. I was knocking angrily and tapping my foot on the floor. I was prepared and ready to throw my hands at her. Nobody gets to put their hands on my babies. She was scarring Evelyn by making her childhood a curse on her, and I was going to stop her.
