- Adriah’s POV -

The banging grew louder. The big man outside was slamming the cell door over and over, each strike making the rusted hinges shake and the concrete walls tremble. My heart jumped with every hit, and the sound echoed inside my head like a drum of death.

“Help! Please, somebody help me!” I screamed, my voice breaking as I cried from the bottom of my lungs. Tears rolled down endlessly, blurring my vision, but no one came. No one ever came.

Fear gripped me so tightly I couldn’t breathe. Not yet… I can’t die yet. Please, not today.

The door cracked, small lines spreading like veins through the wood and iron. My body wanted to run, but the wolfsbane still burned in my veins, making my limbs heavy, my feet weak, and now, cursed cramps biting at my legs. I stumbled back against the wall, clutching my stomach, praying for a miracle.

With one final crash, the door split apart and crashed flat on the floor. My scream tore from my throat, my chest heaving as the monster of a man

  • Alpha King's Bullied Mate   The King's Rage

    - Alpha King Jester’s POV - I was mad. No—beyond mad. Rage burned through me like wildfire, scorching everything in its path. My hands clenched into fists so tightly that my nails dug into my palms, but even that pain could not ground me. Looking at my mate lying helplessly on the bed, pale and fragile, tore something open inside me. I couldn’t breathe properly; I couldn’t think straight. All I could see was her suffering, and all I could feel was hatred for the one who caused it.But what plagued me most was the image seared into my mind: Adriah. Adriah, standing there with Lerio, my own brother, and both of them cornering Jairah. I understood Lerio—he was in his manic period, unstable, unable to stop himself. But Adriah? My jaw tightened, the tendons straining as I thought of her. How could she? How could she betray her own blood, her own sister, with such cruelty? Did she not have a heart? Did guilt not claw at her for even a second?“Why are you thinking that way about your mate

  • Alpha King's Bullied Mate   The Pointing Blame

    - Adriah's POV - The moment Jairah opened the door, we were surprised to see a messy room. Broken bottles, a destroyed bed and cabinet with wolf scratches—but what surprised us most was the man with ripped clothes and messy hair, his back facing us. Worse, he kept punching the semi-broken wall. But suddenly, he stopped, and then he slowly turned to face us. I could feel Jairah shivering in fear from the look the man was giving us. It was like he was hungry, like… he saw his food.Damn! It was the scent coming from me. He must have sensed it!I took a step back, and the two guards who dragged me here must have snapped out of their daze as they ran in front of Jairah, shielding her from any possible danger. The man ran with swift speed and fought the two guards. That was the moment Jairah finally woke up from her shock. She immediately ran away, and I ran too, but the man was stronger than I expected. He immediately took down the two guards and followed us.We ran fast, but unfortunate

  • Alpha King's Bullied Mate   The Fake Tears

    - Adriah’s POV - I paced back and forth in my room, my heart beating like a drum that wouldn’t stop. I couldn’t take this anymore. Every second here felt like poison crawling under my skin. This place was hell... it would kill me alive, swallow me whole until nothing was left of me but a broken shell.I had to escape. No one was going to save me. Not even King Jester, not unless I made him believe me, not unless he saw that I was his real mate. He couldn’t keep believing the lie, the deception, the illusion that Jaira had spun around him.I clenched my fists tightly. It was better to die doing something than to die here doing nothing. But as I walked, my hand brushed against a glass of water on the table. It fell to the floor and shattered into pieces. The sound echoed loudly, making me jump. My chest tightened as if something inside me stirred... something strange, unexplainable. A flicker of power crawled through my veins, faint but real. But just as quickly as it came, it vanished

  • Alpha King's Bullied Mate   Too Scared of Truth

    - Adriah’s POV - I woke up with my eyes heavy and swollen from all the crying last night. My cheeks felt stiff, and my head hurt like I had been hit with all the pain in my chest. I didn’t even remember when I fell asleep—somewhere between crying on the floor and wishing the pain would stop.Slowly, I pushed myself up, sat on the bed, and stared at the empty room. My body felt weak, but my heart felt worse. It was empty, hurting, yet it kept beating like it didn’t care about my pain. What was left for me now? To marry someone I didn’t love, someone I didn’t even know? That wasn’t a life.Escape.The word filled my head. I wanted to escape this place, this life. I hadn’t even healed from learning I was adopted. I hadn’t recovered from the betrayal of the man I loved. And now, the Moon Goddess tied me to another nightmare... watching my mate love my sister. How much more did I have to take?I wanted space. A place to breathe. A place to live. Somewhere far away, where no one could find

  • Alpha King's Bullied Mate   The Moon Goddess was Silent

    - King Jester’s POV -I buried myself in papers, trying to track every case of rogues gone mad beyond the border. They weren’t just losing their minds anymore. They were tearing through villages like monsters. No reason, no control. My head ached from staring at the words when suddenly, my chest burned. A sharp pull gripped my heart, strong enough to knock the breath out of me. My wolf stirred violently inside, growling.I froze. That feeling… it wasn’t mine. It was hers.“Oh, shit.” I shot up from the chair so fast it rolled back and hit the wall. My hands shook, and fear slammed into me. Not fear of war. Not fear of rogues. But fear for her. My mate.“Jairah,” I whispered, already rushing out. My chest hurt, my heart pounding like a drum. Something was wrong with her.But then… another name cut through my mind.Adriah.The sound of it made my stomach twist. Why? Why did I think of her now? Why did her name make my wolf growl louder? No. No, it didn’t make sense. It had to be her Ste
