Nineteen years ago

Rogues started to attack different packs to find the last descendant of Selene all over the world . They capture the girls or babies during the battle after killing the families brutally.To see if silver can kill them or not as the last descendant can only become weak but can not be killed by introducing silver in her blood stream .Several newborns were killed. Elder children kept as slave and will be sold as sex slave around age of ten.

Series rogues groups were coming in the pack lands.Pack warriors were lined up with arms in their hands. The war breaks out when rogues and the pack members run towards each other to attack.Soon they all shifted in their wolf form .Bark,howling, skin tearing is heard and bone breaking sounds can be heard. Rain of silver arrows were thrown at the pack members. Cannon balls were fired from several direction.Silver bullets were fired.Many rogues were killed.Pack members were either severely injured or killed to save their Alpha and his family.

Lands after lands are covered in blood . Heart wrenching cries can be heard in the air . Many lost their mates.packs destroyed brutally. Warriors were killed in front of their mates by cutting them limb by limb.

Rogues came near the pack house. Rogue Alpha, Alpha Demon commanded the rogues"BRING THE WHITE WOLF AND HIS MATE TO ME DEAD OR ALIVE WITH HIS DAUGHTER. I NEED THAT BASTARD CHILD ALIVE .NOW GO".

The whole pack house was locked but it did not stop the rogues from breaking the door of the pack house soon. The pack members inside the house were not prepared as most of them were women, children, elders and teenagers.

Rogues attack the pack house. Pack member throats were either sliced or stabbed by the rogues.Some rogues clawed the hearts out from pack member chests. Some were cut limb by limb.

"SPREAD OUT ,THAT WHITE WOLF WILL BE HIDING SOMEWHERE HERE. WE HAVE TO GET HIM BEFORE HE ESCAPE"Demon yelled.

The rogues spread throughout the house . They found none.

" Sir we have not found anyone".

"He must have a hidden place to hide".

" Do you search the office?''

" No sir. The door is not opening ".

" They must be there. Now go".

Damien along with the other rogues speed towards the office. Soon they broke the door but there was nobody. They started searching for the hidden door. When Damien removed a book from the bookshelf while he stumbled. The bookshelf moved away from the wall and a hidden tunnel came out in sight.

" GUARDS GO DOWN THE TUNNEL. THEY MUST BE THERE". Going down through the stairs of the tunnel they stop in their tracks when they see the tunnel ends deep in the woods.

"THEY MUST BE IN THE WOODS. GO FIND THEM. WE HAVE TO GET THE CHILD".The rogues start searching the forest.

The white wolf and his fae mate along with their newborn daughter run away for their lives. Though he did not want to leave his pack behind, he had to do that to save their child.

" My love we have to run fast otherwise they will soon find us. They are not far behind".

"We have to save our daughter Artemis. They can not get her. Even if we can not survive, they can not get their hands on her otherwise everything will be finished. Moon Goddess gave her to us as our daughter so we can protect her ".

" We will protect her with our lives. We should move towards the west. There is a stream where we can rest there".

They speed towards the West of woods. When they came near the stream they slowed down and sat near the river. Soon they heard footsteps coming close. They panicked. Near a tree there was a basket. Their first instinct is to save their child.

Artemis' mate quickly put the child in the basket and turned towards her mate.

"We have to save her by letting her go" by saying that both their hearts broke but they knew better than keep the child with them. Getting a sad nod from her mate she bend near the stream along with the basket in her hand, tears running down her eyes.

"My love one day you will become a great queen and bring light and happiness in this darkness of the world" Saying this she kissed her child's head.

She chants a protective spell and leaves the basket in the stream to float it away.

Her mate embraces her in his arms while both of them are crying.

"Oh what lovely scene mates are holding each other while crying. See that by looking at it my heart is bleeding for them". Damien's sinister mocking voice heard behind the couple . The couple turned to find the whole area was covered by rogues and Alpha Demon was standing in front of them while wiping his fake tears.

" Damien " Artemis said with hatred.

"Artemis'' Demon mocked. Artemi's face darkened in anger.

"Now now come to the main point, where is daughter Artemis".

" If you think you will get my daughter, that will only happen over my dead body ".

" Oh, that can be arranged. Guards". Demon nods his head towards the couple and rogues get the signal.

They circled around the couple and snatched them from each other. Rogues hold them by their arms while the couple tries to free themselves from the rogues hold.

Damien walks up to Artemis' mate, Clara and gaps her face with his thumb and other fingers while she tries to wiggle out of his grip. He tightened his hold.

"My my Artemis you have such a beautiful and ravishing mate. I wonder if I have my ways with her in front of you".Hearing this Clara started thrashing in their hold and Damien gave out a sinister laugh after seeing her reaction.

Artemis tried to charge at Damien's direction but was held back by the rogues.

"DON'T YOU DARE TO TOUCH MY MATE WITH YOUR FILTHY HANDS" Artemis snarled.

Damien backed away in mocking surrender.

"Ok ok I will not do anything to her ". Saying this he takes a silver sword from the nearest rogue and stab Artemis in the chest. The sword passes through Artemi's body. Artemis cried out in pain and agony. Clara whimpered she felt his pain through the mate bond. Rogues leave him and Artemis kneels on his knees while clutching the sword.

Clara begged Damien"Please leave him ,spare his life please ".

" No can do dear".Damien was enjoying the show. One after another stab Artemis with their sword. Artemis takes his last breath while looking at his mate with love, pain and agony.

"NO . ARTEMIS DO NOT DIE UPON ME LOVE. DO NOT CLOSE YOUR EYES" with that Artemis closed his eyes. Clara felt the mate bond break ,a heart wrenching pain passed through her body it felt like a part of her soul died with her mate. She breaks into a blood curdling cry.

Rogues shoved her on Damien's feet with her hair. Damien pulled her face by hair and then ran the blade of sword along the side of her face but not to cause any cut.

"Now Clara dear, tell me where is your bastard daughter".

"I will never tell you about her you bastard even if I have to die. BUT MARK MY WORDS SHE WILL RETURN AND WILL AVENGE EVERYONE WHO DIED. YOU WILL ALL PAY FOR YOUR SINS AND YOU DEMON YOU WILL LAY ON MY DAUGHTER'S FEET AND ASK FOR MERCY JUST LIKE I ASKED FOR MY MATES LIFE. YOUR PRIDE, ARROGANCE, RUTHLESSNESS, CRUELTY WILL LEAD YOU TO YOUR DEATH ALONG WITH ALL OF YOU".

Damien can not handle any more; he pulled Clara on her feet by her hair and slit her throat. Clara's body separated from her head and went limp. Damien throws the head near the stream mercilessly. He went near the stream and saw his reflection. He is covered in the blood of the couple. His right side is covered in blood and the left side of his face has claw marks. He got that during the war, giving him the most evil look. He washed his face in the stream.

"FIND THE CHILD".

Rogues start searching. Several hours later they did not find anybody.

" Alpha we could not find any child. There is nobody in the woods ".

Hearing this Damien's face darkened with anger and irrigation.

" YOU CAN NOT FIND A CHILD".He extended his claws and ripped the rogue's throat in anger.

He anything about this so they all return to the rogue palace.
