CHAPTER FIVE: An Unexpected Reunion

Daciana's POV 

As soon as he walked up the stage, I felt a strong pull towards him and when I looked into his eyes, all I could see was myself in them.

The concert ground was so quiet that it was hard to believe that there were thousands of people present, the only thing that showed their presence was the camera flashes from their phones.

“Woww!”

“Oh my Gosh!”

“This is crazy!”

“My goddess found her mate, somebody pinch me!”

The crowd suddenly erupted in cheers after the initial shock.

“Umm..” I wanted to tell him that i had to finish the concert but I didn't know his name yet.

“Logan” he said with a smile before getting off the stage.

A girl rushed up to him and gave him a tight hug while crying emotionally.

“I don't know where to start from guys, today is the happiest day of my life and I am thrilled that you all were here to witness it” I said and cheerful screams erupted again.

“It's our honor!”

“We are so happy for you!”

“We love you!”

“Are you ready!!” I yelled into the mic.

“Yess!!!!” They screamed loudly.

The beat started again and I started over again, I sang four of my songs while doing the music video choreography.

It was insane

Don't get me wrong, I have performed in front of a large audience but this is something I couldn't have ever imagined.

After two hours of intense dancing, the concert was finally over.

“Drink so water” Vera handed me a bottle of water.

“Sis, I started a Livestream on your Tiktok account and you received more than five million dollars gifts” Gina informed me happily.

I quickly changed into a pair of jeans and white crop top and white sneakers.

“So what's our prince Charming’s name?” Gina asked while wiggling her eyebrows.

“Logan” I replied while trying to look at anywhere but her face.

Bang!

The dressing room door was forcefully pushed open and Sasha stormed in.

“Is there something wrong with your brain?” Vera asked her angrily but Sasha just ignored her and kept glaring at me.

“Okay, let it out already, your eyes can't hurt me” I said with an annoyed tone.

“I have been in love with him for years but what makes you so special that he chose you?!” She asked with tears streaming down her face.

“Isn't the crown Prince the one you are in love with? What does he have to do with my mate?” I asked while staring at her in confusion.

“Your mate is the crown prince, Logan Alfredo” Vera said after coming to a sudden realization.

I was too stunned to react for a few seconds.

“But, he wasn't the one that you met that day right? The one that contacted and invited me over” I asked Vera.

“I just asked G****e and found out that the one we thought was the crown prince was actually his younger brother, Karl Alfredo” Gina replied while handing me the phone to see the search result.

It felt so surreal, my mate is the crown prince of Lycantropolis.

“That means…” I was about to say something when my mates scent wafted into my nose and I immediately looked at the door which Sasha refused to close when she entered.

He walked in and smiled at me.

“Your highness, I am..” Sasha ran to his side and raised her hand for a handshake but he just walked past her before she could finish her sentence.

“Hi brother-in-law” Gina greeted happily.

“Hello” he replied her with a smile.

He rubbed my hair with a doting expression and I couldn't stop blushing.

“Someone looks like a cooked shrimp” Vera teased me with a smile.

“I will take you with me to the palace” he said with a smile.

“What about my sisters?” I asked him with a worried expression as I didn't want to be separated from them.

“I will have someone bring them over as well” he replied and I breathed a sign of relief.

“Are you just going to abandon me?!” Sasha asked angrily but we ignored her.

“My father asked you to take care of me” she said while stomping her feet like a toddler.

“I am sure we can arrange a room for her as well” Logan said and she finally shut her mouth.

“Thank you, your highness. I am..” she bowed and was about to introduce herself again but Logan held my hand and walked out without giving her a listening ear.

“Pffff” 

I could hear Gina's laughter and I smiled as well. It's good to have someone to vent your anger for you.

He led me to a silver colored Porsche, that was packed at the back door, probably to avoid fans and paparazzi.

He opened the passenger door for me and I got in, before he got into the driver's seat.

“Hi!” I was startled by the sudden voice from the backseat.

I looked back and saw the girl that hugged him earlier, she was wearing a DC squad T-shirt.

My fans are called DC squad.

“My little sister, Halsey” Logan introduced her and she immediately stretched her hand for a handshake.

“Nice to meet you” I said while giving her a handshake.

“Ahhhh! I am never washing my hands again!” She screamed while looking at the hand I just shook, like a piece of treasure.

“She is going to be staying at the palace too, so you can shake her everyday” Logan said while laughing.

“I am so happy, my friends are going to die from jealousy” she said happily and I couldn't stop laughing.

“You are going to have a little tail from now on” Logan said with a smile.

We arrived at a huge gate and the fences were so high that I couldn't see the top when I looked up.

The gate slowly opened to reveal a sophisticated castle, everything from the fountains to the statues was screaming luxury.

When the car came to a halt, I saw an older couple waiting at the entrance, there was also a young man as well, whom I recognized as Logan's younger brother.

Logan got out of the car and opened the passenger door for my to get out. He extended his hand and I took it as I stepped out of the car.

If I had known that he was the crown prince earlier, I would have worn something better. 

I felt quite nervous, meeting my inlaws in Jeans and crop top.

“Dad!” Halsey yelled and ran into the man's arms happily.

Logan and I slowly walked up to the couple and I bowed to show respect for the king and queen.

“We are a family, there is no need for such courtesy” The king said with a smile.

“You are so beautiful dear, I can't wait to see how my grandkids look” He said with a happy laugh and I blushed.

“Who talks about grandkids in the first meeting Dad” Halsey said while laughing.

I looked towards the queen but she just sneered at me before looking in another direction.

I was confused by her attitude but felt a gentle squeeze on my hand and I turned to look at Logan.

He signalled me with his eyes to not take it to heart.

“Hi, I'm Karl, Logan's younger brother” Karl introduced himself to diffuse the awkward atmosphere created by the Queen's attitude.

“Hello” I replied with a nod.

“Welcome to the family” his Highness said and gestured for us to come in.

“Father, we will meet you later, I have somewhere to take her first” Logan said.

“Okay, don't forget to come see me” He reminded before going into the palace with the others following behind.

“Where are we going?” I asked, as he led me down a path.

“To the training arena, my friends are there” he replied with a smile.

We arrived at a huge arena, there were different game settings, from a boxing ring to a basketball court and many others.

“Hey, over here!” A shout came from the side, I looked over and saw a group of guys smiling at us.

The one that shouted was a dark skinned, tall guy, he was smiling with a bottle of wine in his hand.

He bore an obvious resemblance to Gina and I was lost in thought for a few seconds.

“Am I that handsome?” He asked when he saw me staring at his face.

“You are quite handsome” I said with a smile but felt a hard squeeze on my hand.

“Please spare me Miss, I don't want some jealous dude, shifting into his wolf and ripping off my head” he said while laughing and I turned to look at Logan, who didn't seem quite happy.

“You are more handsome” I said while resting my head on his chest and he finally smiled.

“ Martins, hope you got that on camera?” The dark skinned guy said while laughing.

“Of course, I wouldn't miss such an opportunity” a guy with a slim build and shiny silver hair said with a smile.

“This is Loyd, Martin, Zane, Zach, Bryant, Hardy..” He introduced the men to me and I greeted all of them with a smile.

“Sister, we are here!” Gina's excited voice came from the entrance and I turned to see her running towards us with Vera walking behind.

On getting to where I was standing, her happy expression turned to shock as she stared at Loyd.

“Brother” she called out with tears streaming down her face.
