The punch was so swift and brutal for my she-wolf eyes to follow.

Axel's already black eyes made his gaze darker. "If you love her, Archer, then I'm sorry to say you've got no chance."

I blinked. Who is he to say that?

I stomped my foot and grabbed Axel's face. "Who are you to say that?"

I don't need to control myself. I chose to explode too. "What about you, Axel? Do you love Jeneva?" I demanded with a voice that could shatter the glasses.

Surprisingly, Alpha Axel fell silent. Trembling, I snatched his phone from his pocket and entered the password.

"Kiera, what are you doing?" he barked, the frown on his face worsening. "Give it back."

He tried to grab it back, but Archer, who was now released from Axel's grip, held him back and prevented him from moving further.
