The mayor was surprised to see Collen in Hayley’s room. She wondered what would have warranted Hayley to keep Stan outside and be inside with Raul. She was not pleased to see him but she smiled at him warmly and replied.

“You are here again?”

“I apologize if it’s any inconvenience, ma’am.” He replied immediately.

“Now what; you have realized your mistakes and want her back? Is that it?”

“Not exactly, ma’am but yes. I have something to discuss with you at your convenience if you please.”

“Oh ok. That’s a solid excuse.” The mayor teased and then turned to face Hayley to seek her permission while she led him away by the hand.

Hayley sighed in relief as the mayor and Raul left the room. Shortly after, Stan walked in and asked.
