The Ambush IV
Modi was pleased to meet Hayley and welcomes her into his kingdom. May was seated beside him watching her alpha’s actions. Hayley’s eyes are fixed on May. She wondered how Raul could have lost such a lovely female. She was barely listening to Modi’s words. May, on the other hand, did not realize she was staring at her. She all smiles watching the scene and Hayley thought she made for a beautiful queen.
“She has come in search of her sister, Queen May.” The priest announced while Hayley stood, head slightly bowed down.
“Beauty seemed to run in this family.” Modi winked at his queen.
May gazed at Hayley a little confused.
“I have a sister?” she got on her feet and approached Hayley to take a close look at her.
Hayley stared in silence hoping that this plan would not be a waste of her time. because if May remembered her in the slightest or even denies having a sister, it would be a failed plan.

Modi gazed at him in confusion. He wanted to be angry but keeps his cool because he wanted to hear everything the priest had to say. He was upset that the priest had such information but conveniently kept it away from him all this time.“What does that mean?”“I saw you die in a war.” The priest lied. “I looked into the pot and I saw your death. It frightened me so much, I had to make moves to protect you.”Modi listened in silence, his heart beating fast. He has never thought of himself as someone who could easily be killed especially since he had the priest as a part of his pack.“Remember the Moon goddess foresaw a battle and I did show you earlier; a battle between you and your queen’s former lover. Though I didn’t see your death at the time, I did see that you would lose your queen to him. And that’s why I kept insisting you laid off the female but you insisted that you needed her.”

Hayley opened her eyes to find herself in the priest’s lair. She hurriedly gets on her feet and looking around tries to recall the last scene she had been in before she passed out. She remembered that after the priest threatened to take away Virgil and her memories, Virgil escaped and the priest hit her hard with his magic stick before she could transform or retaliate and that was how she passed out. She tried to test herself to see if she could remember anything for fear of being amnesic. Luckily, she could remember Raul, he was the first person she could think of at the moment. Then Virgil, May, and the rest of her team. She smiled in satisfaction and went straight out in search of the priest to scold him for bringing her to his lair. She finds May, Modi, and the priest seated at a round table looking sober. “Did somebody die?” she speaks up to alert them of her presence just in case she was the reason they were sober. There was music and dancing and lots of females and sex going on. They passed and tried to ignore the scene and came out to an open road. “Where to now?” Kal asked a little impatient. “Relax Kal…” Virgil tried to convince him to keep calm but he cut in rudely, gasping and breathing hard. “I’m starving, Virgil. We have been on this journey for five days with little to no food and water. You know, I could eat you right now.” He eyed him briefly and turned his face away slowly in irritation.
