Chapter 39

KIRA:

I tighten the hood of my jacket over my head, making use of it to ensure I’m hidden from sight as I walk down the path leading to the school. This was after I noticed some students pass by my side. I was certain they were seniors due to their classy style of dressing.

The pack-wide shutdown was called off yesterday. According to the reports received, it was now safe for everyone to go out which is is why I’m out of my quarters today after being locked in for almost a week.

I have no excitement about going back to school. It was nothing different to being locked in. I would rather sway away my time in a day doing nothing, just lurking around the pack than being in either places.

It was a little cold this morning. Seems like we’re getting into the winter season already. Funny thing is that I didn’t even take my jacket because of the cold. Never knew the weather would be this way at all. My cue to hide myself away from the others had prompted me to do so. And I guess my instincts p
