Chapter 53: Seducing Ryker

Lisa walked toward me, blocking me from the only exit. Stepping to the side, I tried to walk around her. Her eyes followed my every movement until we met in the middle of the room.

“I was wondering if you were an Alpha?” She asked.

Her question seemed harmless to me. Stopping my movements to the stairs, I backed up a bit from her, not wanting her to be too close.

“I am.” I answered civilly.

“That’s good.” She nodded her head as she took a step forward. “Would it be too forward of me to ask you another question?”

Thinking I wouldn’t be able to get away from her without asking her questions, I took another step back. “What else do you want to know?”

This time she didn’t make another advancement toward me, but I felt a little uneasy being down here with her. I’ve had little experience with other women in the past few years, so it was difficult to decipher what she was trying to do. Maybe it was all in my head due to the way Taelin seemed jealous.
