LOGINETHAN.
TWO WEEKS LATER.
A Royal banquet was being held in the mansion ballroom, the purpose of the ceremony was unknown to everyone, all Alphas from around the coasts were in attendance.
The ballroom was a grand stone hall lit by iron scones and flickering torches. The floors were smooth limestone, worn by the passage of nobles and warriors. Tall columns lined the sides, etched with ancient symbols, and thick tapestries hung from the walls, depicting battles, legends, and forgotten gods.
At the far end, musicians played lutes and flutes while guests in robes and armor danced beneath a high vaulted ceiling, echoing with laughter and the rhythm of tradition.

LANCELOT. I watched Nyra racing in the track terrain from my window, she has this determined look on her face—to purge something out of her system and I know fully well— that’s me. It’s a lot more fun knowing that I’m the cause of her unsettled mood. The wind danced with her long dark brown hair, beads of sweat trickling down her face, her eyes sharp and focused. High cheekbones, straight and pointed nose, her lips— those soft babies, I couldn’t get enough of them last night. They were tempting and so intoxicating, I was immediately drawn to them. Our meeting wasn’t a coincidence or unexpected. It was carefully planned out, when I first saw her was Sean’s declaration as the new Alpha of Crescent pack. She stood beside a man, looking flawless and radiant. I felt drawn to her, then I discovered she was one of the descendants, a Duskwolf infact. But that didnt stop me from craving for her. The next one was at Dragonblood pack, during the engagement party of Alpha Edwi
NYRA. “Urghh, my head.” I groaned out, my head felt like splitting into two. Last night was Sean and Isabella’s marriage Ceremony. There was enough to eat and drink and I drank a lot. My vision was a little blurry, my body ached so badly, I felt sore— what the hell!!!. My eyes snapped open, I was lying on the bed in an unfamiliar room, my head throbbed and I was still feeling dizzy, I needed a hangover soup. “How did I let myself pass out after drinking—- my words got cut in my throat when I felt a movement beside me, rustling of sheets and I whipped my head around. Behold, a man was lying asleep beside me, I raised the sheets to find me naked beneath, I screamed out in horror, jolting him away. “What’s wrong?.” He asked, rubbing his eyes, when his gaze met mine, I felt the air being knuckled out of my lungs, he was gorgeous, his body was a work of art, strong arms with bulging veins, broad shoulders with a butterfly tattoo at his collarbone, he has a sharp jawline that c
ALPHA EDWIN. I was happy, seeing my daughter—Naria radiating with joy all over her. She was dancing with Ethan on the dance floor, smiling and giggling at anything he whispered into her ears. Mere looking at them, I saw the younger version of myself and her mother, the thought of my late wife—Qwen, my heart bled, tears circled around my eyelids but I blinked it away. I can’t cry on my daughter’s big day, I dabbed the handkerchief on my eyes, wiping the tears away, Qwen had always been praying to the moon goddess for this day, but she didn’t survive to this day. If only I made it back on time, she would have been alive but I came too late, and lost her forever. THIRTEEN YEARS AGO. I had left Dragonblood pack, on a peace—keeping mission. “My lord, when do we set out for our home?.” Darca asked, tired and weak. “By Dawn.” I signed. We have have been able to make peace between the two packs in the Eastern coast that were at war. We set our tents and camped for the n

NARIA.“Did you by any chance see Ethan?.” I asked Yuan, who was on patrol.“Yes I did.”“Where?.” I asked eagerly.“In his former room, my princess.” Yuan replied with a bow and marched out.His former room?. I was surprised he would be there, what is he doing there?.I stroded down the hallway in long strides, my feet light on the ground, I came to a halt at the door of Ethan’s former room, it was creaked open a little, I could see his back, he was standing straight and tall, looking at win
ETHAN.I watched the trees dancing to the rhythm of the wind, the fields so green and bright, the birds flying free, a life I once sought and now I have it.Happy and relieved. Its been a month after the war, I never thought such a day will come when I will be standing in my room, here in Dragonblood territory. I would have laughed it off, if I was told I would survive the immense tortue and live.THREE YEARS AGO.I was in the field dishing out orders to the other guards, when I was summoned. “Commander, you have been summoned to the court chambers immediately.” Yuan, the imperial guard
