PROLOGUE: Rejected and replaced

I laid on my bed that morning, half awake and listening to the beautiful song the birds sang, I felt at peace.

The song of the birds was quickly interuppted as I heard loud angry footsteps approach my room.

Those footsteps sounded like thunder roaring upon the face of the earth, with the sudden silence of everything around me, I knew who it was, it was Alpha Sin.

My door was smashed open in a fit of pure range and I suddenly got up in amazement, I was wide awake now.

I knew he didn’t just come for a friendly visit as his aura radiated pure rage and hatred.

The debris of my shattered door laid all over my room floor, and on my bed too.

Alpha Sin stepped through the debris as he attempted to approach me, his eyes were blood red, the eyes of a murderous animal.

He glared at me as he slowly approached, with every forward step he took, I took a backward step.

Completely dumbfounded, I was unable to say anything as I backed my self into the wall. I looked back and saw there was nowhere left to go, and when I looked back in the direction in front of me, he stood there. Staring at me with that soul piercing gaze of his.

Escaping was a pipe dream, I accepted my fate and hoped the moon goddess would come to my aid.

Alpha Sin gripped my neck with his broad hands, my legs left the ground as I gasped for air.

I felt like I was going to die, I tried screaming but I couldn’t. He looked up at me with eyes full of hate as he said

“Those who go against the rules of the pack must be punished, rebelling against me is punishable by death”

I didn’t know what he was talking about, rebelling against him? I didn’t understand this.

As Alpha sin held me up, I tried using my feet to kick against him so he’d let me go, my attempt was futile, his skin was rock-hard.

Alpha sin gazed at me with killing intent, he looked possessed, what reason could he have to treat me like this, like a worthless animal.

I felt tears stream down my face as I struggled to speak.

“I- I do not know what yo- mean. I haven’t broken any of the pack’s rules”

While I spoke, he squeezed harder, he was hellbent on killing me. I thought I was a goner but for some reason he was resisting, Alpha sin looked like he was having an internal battle I knew nothing about.

Alpha sin let go of my neck and I had a rough fall to the ground. I coughed loudly, I struggled to get air into my lungs and my eyes felt like they were about to pop out of their sockets.

Just when I was starting to feel a bit of relief, Alpha sin grabbed my hand and dragged me through his castle.

Members of the pack watched as he dragged me downstairs and threw me outside. The town’s folk were starting to gather round to watch as the drama unfolded, Alpha sin ordered his underlings to strip me of every clothing I had.

The town’s people gazed upon my naked body, totally violating me with their eyes. I had never felt so humiliated in my life

“From here on out, I strip you of your rights as a member of this pack, you will no longer be my mate, you lost your place here as I have found a new mate!”

Confusion, What did he mean by new mate? Tears streamed down my face as I covered my body with my hands in shame.

Alpha sin looked at me

“Selina Jules! Step forward at once”

Alpha sin thundered, A pale looking seductress stepped out of the crowd.

This woman, Selina Jules was her name.

She approached placed her hand on his face, then planted a kiss on his lips.

“From today onwards, this woman will be my new mate, you’re dead to me”

I then understood what was going on, I had been ridden of by this woman.
