Irene's POV.

I wore my jacket and looked outside, it was quite dark, the only light was the bright moon that I didn't bother staring at.

Ethan held my hand and pulled lightly, I mistakenly tripped to the floor because I was absent-minded.

"Ene, are you alright?" He asked and squatted beside me.

I could see worry written all over his face as I raised my eyes to look at him.

"Are you wounded?" He touched my body to confirm if I was fine, I knew he cared and I loved him for that.

"No, I'm good it wasn't your fault, I was just a bit distracted by everything that has been happening and the strange things occurring are bothering me" I muttered anxiously.

He helped me up to my feet and kissed my lips, it was one of those sweet and deep kisses that made my heart flutter.

Our lips made a cute sound as he parted the kiss "I don't care about the weird drawing, cabin, funny and silly-looking creatures, or even your high-handed mother, I will be here to support and protect you,
