I groaned in frustration, trying to yank Chesed back. I know he was getting agitated the more he thought about Santi and Ignazio. But he didn’t need to take back control. He’s going to ruin everything. I saw it in her reaction earlier. She was thinking about kissing me. And then he tried to come forward, and she backed away.
‘Stupid wolf. Can’t you tell that when you are in control, she’s colder to us? She let me get closer to her. Hell, I think she’d have let me kiss her. But you pushed forward, and she stepped away.’ I rolled my eyes as I watched her walking away.
