An Heir

Unknown POV.

The sky bloomed with darkness and birds chirped from different directions. The moon shone very bright in the sky, serving as the only source of light in the creepy forest.

A young woman dressed in a black cloak walked briskly along the clear path in the forest. With every step she took, the dry leaves cracked, and broke in pieces.

She looked back multiple times, as if being scared of the surrounding. She took different turns until she finally arrived in front of a cave. She looked around at the trees, and mountains one last time before placing her hand on the cave.

Suddenly, the cave gave way like a door, which lead to a path. She smiled in satisfaction, and walked in. As she went deeper and deeper, she muttered a spell, and just like it opened, the cave shut itself.

Inside the cave laid dried, almost decayed human bones, and skulls. The cave looked like a century old dump site for dead bodies.

The young woman hummed beautifully as she walked in the midst of the bones without a care in the world.

She stopped in front of a throne made out of bones, and sat on it. immediately she was properly settled, she snapped her fingers twice, and a middle-aged woman appeared in front of her.

The middle-aged woman quickly bowed to the ground. "Milady? You didn't tell us you'll be here today".

The young woman scoffed, and then jammed her palms together. Immediately, the middle-aged woman started to groan in pains, as she held her tummy tightly.

"Must the queen always inform the peasants of her presence"? She asked mockingly "No!!! she appears whenever she wants to. Understood"?

The middle-aged lady quickly shook her head in agreement as drops of tears came running down her face.

The young woman quickly stood up from her throne, and the other hastily rose to her feet.

"Let us go to the portal, we need to discuss our next plan. There's been a very big change".

They soon arrived an empty space, and the young woman clapped her hands together. Suddenly, a bright light appeared, covering the entire area in front of her.

"Hello milady". A group of voices echoed at once "We hear that there is a great mishap happening in the palace. Mind telling us what it is"?

"Well..". The young woman began nonchalantly, as she picked her nails. "The white eyes, she's claiming to be the mate of the alpha, and I fear that it is true".

A loud gasp erupted from inside the white light. "Where did she come from"? One voice asked.

"We made sure to keep her far away". another voice said.

"What shall we do about her? We can't let her destroy all our plans". A third voice says.

"Shut up all of you incompetent fools!!!! I gave you one chance, and you ruined it all for me. It was a simple job 'Keep her away, keep her away'" The young woman screamed maniacally, as silence descended upon them.

She folded her arms and starred into space, as if lost in thoughts. "If you had done a better job from the beginning, we wouldn't be facing such problems". She spoke calmly this time around.

"We are sorry, milady". The voices echoed again from the white light. "How can we make this work"?

"Well, I have come up with a better plan. Since, I cannot be the Luna queen, and share the same powers with the King. The only way to redeem the kingdom of witches from the curse of the Moon goddess is to bear an heir powerful enough to do it".

For the second time a loud gasp sounded from the white light. "Mind explaining it to us milady? We do not understand the plan".

"Dummies". She muttered under her breath. "Of course I will". She replied loud enough this time. "Imagine a child from the alpha King, and the most powerful witch, what do you think? The only way to release all of you from this curse is by bearing an heir powerful enough to destroy, and to rule over every living creature. That is the only way".

"That is an excellent plan milady. What we have been struggling to do for decades, milady has come up with a solution so quickly". A voice praised her from the light.

"Of course. That is why I am the most powerful witch that has ever existed". She squealed.

Suddenly she stopped, and wore a serious face. "What do you think I should do about the white eyes? I need to get rid of her as quickly as possible".

A clearing of throat is heard from inside the light, and a voice very old spoke. "Milady, I think you should turn the alpha King against her. Whom the leader hates, the followers hate".

"Perfect. No one knows me as a witch. They are still blinded by my act of being the sweet, loving, supportive woman. This way, it'll be easier to turn the King away from her, and make sure he has eyes for only me. He shall love me, cherish me, and do all my bidding.

"That will be all for now". She clapped her hands again, and the white light disappeared. She turned abruptly towards the middle aged woman who stood behind her all the while she spoke. "How is the plan with the Queen coming on, do you serve her portion daily"?

With a shaky voice she responded "Y.e..s milady. I always do as you've instructed. I put a little portion of the black powder into her drink every morning and night".

Everything is coming together, and very soon The Doom will be the most powerful Kingdom to ever exist. I will crush the alpha King, I will make sure he begs from mercy, but won't find any. I will make sure he's suffers for every time he made me cry.

The moon goddess will regret cursing my kingdom into emptiness.

It's time to make an heir.
