With that in mind, I quickly washed my face and placed my head under the faucet to give my shorter hair a wet look. I chewed on my lower lip to make it appear redder and plumper, tapped my cheekbones a few times for fake blush. Then, I opened the collar of my dress to expose my throat. I stopped in my tracks when I saw the red hickey on my neck. I still had no idea which of them gave it to me.

When I heard the door of the room open, I pulled myself together as best as I could, unbuttoning my dress just enough to show the top of my chest.

I am beautiful and desirable. Jasper proved that to me last night. He was attracted to me... and I will use that to my advantage. Seducing him would be a piece of cake. Once he told me where the original video was... I will kill him.

“Hey,” the duke said when he opened the bathroom door. “Come out. I’ll bandage your arm.”
