Dominic’s POV

The world narrowed to blood, breath, and rage.

Everything else ceased to exist the moment I saw Aurelia on her knees, chains biting into her wrists, Liam’s blade pressed against her throat. The smell of her fear tore into me, mixing with smoke and ash. My wolf slammed against my ribs, howling, begging me to tear Liam apart with my bare hands.

I almost lost myself right there.

Almost.

“Beta,” I growled without turning my head.

I didn’t need to look. I felt him move.

The second Liam’s attention flicked just one heartbeat, one breath and my Beta lunged from behind, slamming his shoulder into Liam’s back. It wasn’t meant to overpower him. Just to distract him.

One second was all I needed.

I shifted mid-leap.

Bones cracked, claws burst free, skin tearing as my wolf surged forward with a roar that shook the courtyard. I landed hard, claws slashing across Liam’s chest before he could recover. Flesh split. Blood sprayed warm across my muzzle.

He screamed.

I didn’t stop. I raked

Aurelia’s POVDays. That was how long it had been since they had taken me. Days of nothing but darkness, chains, hunger gnawing at my belly, and relentless pain hammering through my body. I had lost count of the number of times Liam had walked in, eyes gleaming, like a predator studying prey, each time finding new ways to break me.At first, I had tried to fight it, mentally, physically, everything in me screaming for freedom. But now I was so tired to care. “You look weary,” he said one morning, stepping into the dim light of my cell. His scarred eye glittered with amusement. “Almost like you’re ready to give up.”I glared at him, trying to summon every ounce of strength left in me. “I will never give up.”“Oh, Aurelia,” he said, crouching to my level, letting the chains rattle as I struggled. “You’re so strong-willed. It’s adorable, really. But I can do this all day. All night. I can starve you, beat you, and still you refuse. But there is one thing I haven’t tried yet.”I stiffene

Aurelia’s POVThe scarred man stepped closer, the chains rattling as I pulled against them. My wrists screamed, skin raw from the rope that had been cut into metal cuffs, but my body refused to yield. The air around him seemed colder than the dungeon walls, as if shadows themselves were crawling across my skin, whispering warnings I could barely process. He stopped a few feet from me, folding his arms. The single eye that met mine glimmered with something I couldn’t name.“I see you’re awake,” he said, his voice low and smooth. “At least you will present for the party that's about to start.”I blinked, trying to make sense of his presence. I knew no one here. I knew no one who could smile at me with such confidence while holding death in their hands.“Who are you?” I rasped, voice raw from the dungeon air and my prior struggles. He tilted his head slightly. “You don’t recognize me? Perhaps you should.”“I… don’t,” I said cautiously, hating the tremor in my voice.A dark chuckle slippe

Aurelia’s POVDarkness clung to the inside of my skull like damp cobwebs. When consciousness crept back into me, it felt like my mind was submerged under thick water. My arms throbbed.Something burned around my wrists, sharp and constant, digging into bone and muscle. I groaned and tried to raise my hands instinctively, only for agony to shoot through both shoulders.I was tied.Ropes held my arms high above my head. My feet barely touched the wooden floor beneath me. Every inch of my body screamed. And worse my wolf was silent this time.A cold wave of realization rippled down my spine. My veins felt heavy, sluggish, as if someone had poured thick poison into them. I tasted metal on my tongue, and the world tilted sideways, only to slam back into clarity.“What…did they give me…?” I whispered, voice hoarse, throat scraped raw.I blinked hard, forcing my eyes to focus.Women surrounded me.Dozens.Some stood tied like I was, others knelt with hands bound behind their backs. One girl

Aurelia’s POVSmoke. That was the first thing I smelled before I even opened my eyes that morning, thick, bitter smoke that burned my nostrils and clung to the back of my throat. For a moment, I thought I was dreaming again, caught between the world of visions and reality. But then screams shattered the silence, echoing through the palace walls like thunder.I jerked upright in bed, heart hammering, wolf pacing inside my chest with wildly beating paws. The windows trembled, and from outside, a roar shook the floor under me.“What?” I swung my legs off the bed. Before my feet hit the floor, the door to my room burst open. Two palace warriors rushed in with their swords drawn.“Your Majesty!” one of them yelled, sweat dripping down his forehead. “The palace is under attack, rogues breached the courtyard!”My heart plummeted.Lyra appeared behind them, signing frantically with sharp gestures that made her hands tremble: Trap. Inside forces. They knew where to strike.I didn’t have time t

  • Alpha's Reborn Luna-Marked For Vengeance    Chapter 93

Aurelia's POVThe hallway outside the throne room smelled of blood. The echoes of Selena’s screams still vibrated through the stone corridors, chasing after me like ghosts. My heart pounded so hard that every step felt unsteady, my breath constantly catching in my throat. I couldn’t believe what I had just witnessed. One minute Selena was laughing beside me during training hours, and the next she was on the ground, pinned beneath warriors after nearly stabbing me in front of everyone. The chaos had happened so fast I was still struggling to understand it.The little girl she had tried to use as a distraction still lay trembling in my arms. Her tiny fingers clutched onto my cloak, refusing to let go, her brown eyes huge with terror.“Shhh… you’re safe now,” I whispered, smoothing her sweaty hair behind her ear. “I’m here. No one will hurt you.”But even as I said it, I wasn’t sure if those words were true anymore.Behind me, warriors dragged Selena down the corridor.“No! Let me go! I
