Natasha POV

I couldn’t help stealing glances at his chiseled body. His eyes were frightening, filled with rage and something I couldn’t point out. His bared chest heaved under my gaze, every muscle and tendon rippling. I wanted to touch him again but I closed my fists in my lap, bunching up the skirt, under which I wasn’t wearing panties. It was difficult not to be aware of my nakedness.

It was difficult not to be affected by this wolf. I wanted to move closer, put my fingers against those ridges and see how they reacted beneath my touch. I wanted to sift my nails through his black hair on his chest. His hair was mussed up. How could I not get attracted to a man like him—all tousled hair and bulging muscles? My gaze went to his tattoo—the rose vines around the wolf. I wanted to ask why he had the vines around the wolf, but refrained. Apollo had this dark aura around him that I was afraid of.

So, I sat in my place, once again stealing glances in fascination. At one point of time,

Imagine going through what Apollo went through as a child, for your tormentors' offspring turning out to be your soul mate. It was hard to accept, but at least he's trying. Apollo and Natasha were both victims of her horrible parents.

And if he really was concerned about protecting her, he would have checked Rita before school!! He knows she has no wolf, and he knows Rita!
