Apollo

All the way home, I had my shirt hung over my right shoulder. It smelled like her, citrusy and delectable. She didn’t allow me to join her under the shower. I was going to punish her for keeping me away from her. A week without her was enough for my wolf to realize that both of us were going to be doomed without her or with her. Better, with her.

I reached home and saw that my father and mother were awake. They were having tea in the main hall. With my shirt hung over my naked shoulder, I walked to my room when my mother called me. “Apollo, we need to talk.”

A muscle in my jaw feathered because I knew what was coming. Taking a deep breath in, I pulled my shades over my head and traipsed to them. “Mum,” I gave her a tight nod as I sat on the opposite sofa and picked up a cookie. I wanted to relax back and show that I was ready for what was coming, but my shoulder muscles were too tense. I nodded at my father who was reading news on his iPad.

“Have you gone mad?” my mother exploded
