Jasper's delightful eyes were lost in Shane's marvelous eyelashes that winged gradually when the yellow, gloomy rays of sun grew to fall on him coming through the window.
Jasper was standing near the bookshelf pretending to be searching for a book when Shane immersed himself in the book he was reading by sitting at the table. "What beautiful eyes!" Jasper drooled over Shane's admirable charm. Shane's eyeball rolled to his side as he heard him. Jasper turned his head towards the bookshelf, pretending to be searching for a book again. His wavering eyes were side-eyed, confirming Shane was coming towards him; he couldn't control his heart from throbbing crazily. Shivering hand of him picked book up above his head. Shane's finger also lands on the same book he touched, leaving Jasper's heart to skip a beat. He was speechless and froze when he turned around only to find Shane was standing so close to him. Shuttered, he pumped back on himself and grasped Shane's shirt, protecting himself from hurting his back. Shane's glare dropped on the hand that gripped his shirt tight. Scared, Jasper took back his hand quickly. Looking down, he stammered, "Sorry, senior." "If you're sorry, move aside," Shane commented with the deep, authoritative voice he always uses, exposing his courage. "Oh! Uhm- i-i'm sorry," he stammered again, embarrassed and moved aside from him. Shane claimed the book and walked off as Jasper's pitiful eyes flashed despondency towards him. A few hours later, dark slowly approached the sky. The electric lights were on, replacing the darkness. When everyone emptied the library, Shane put back the book on the bookshelf. Jasper was sighting him all along. Shane darted at him. Instantly, Jasper threw his look at the book, behaving like he was gathering information from the book. Sighed, Shane stepped towards him. Jasper's heart thundered, "Oh my god. He's coming." Immediately, he stood up from the table holding the book. Since he was anxious, his senses prevented him from looking directly into Shane's eyes. Shane came and blocked his way. Still, Jasper's eyes only looked at the floor. He couldn't gather enough courage to meet his. "What exactly do you want from me?" Asked Shane. He voiced rude. "I-i'm here for some reading, senior. I think you misunderstood me." Jasper's voice stammered with apprehension. Shane snatched the book Jasper had. "This isn't your major subject." He dictated. Jasper choked. Frozen as if nothing came to his mind to excuse himself. "Look, Jasper!" Shane commented. Jasper flashed a dubiety. However, he managed to meet his glassy eyes. "It's been a year since I rejected your proposal. Try to move on. Why do you keep following me around? Is it because I didn't have my partner yet?" questioned Shane. Jasper remained quiet. If so, he lost it in Shane's beauty. "Jasper! I'm asking you." Shane repeated, raising his voice. Guilt and disappointment crawled in Jasper's face. "I will soon find my partner. And... I'm a man. Not a gay. You better look for someone else." Shane's dictation pierced his heart and made a crack despite Shane declaring nicely. Not to delay, his eyes secreted tears. Unable to disobey Shane's comment, he kept his eyes hooked on him. "Don't!" Shane warned him before he shed tears. Jasper pursed his lips and swallowed back his tears. "Try to move on, Jasper. I'm looking for a woman, not a man." Imposed Shane. He left as Jasper blinked, realizing his foolishness. "Yes! I'm not a woman." Jasper babbled, crestfallen, and told himself, "He wants you, man, Jasper. You have no chance to be his partner. Please move on..." He shed tears at last, his voice turned into air as he felt some air blocking his chest, making it stiff. Squatting down, holding the bookshelf, he burst into a lamenting cry, unable to express his emotion. "Move on, Jasper! Move on, please..." He repeated in his thoughts, raging with an emotional cry, which took his breath away. He exhaled, instantly feeling his breath stuck. His misery spread in the air, drenching the library atmosphere with his desperation. He sniveled after pouring all his tears and stood up, fixing swollen, reddish eyes at the stars through the window. The next day, an invitation to senior's birthday party was offered to Jasper while his long face was soaking the atmosphere around him with hopelessness. "I'm not going, sorry," Jasper replied in a low, sick voice. "It is the invitation from Senior Shane. He asked us to invite everyone in our department. I hope you know what will happen if we don't obey him." The student revealed leaving the invitation letter to him. Shane was the president of the college and the top student in the Architecture department. And also he was the chairman's first son. If anyone opposes his words, they can't survive in the college, and also they can't be taken by any other college outside. He was famous among the college women since his whole figure enunciated Angel-like handsomeness with an Alpha-like dominant attitude. "I'll be doomed." A hopeless sigh escaped Jasper's lips. That day came so soon that he was desperately wanting to avoid seeing Shane. Shane stepped inside the party hall, where a lot of students were waiting for the birthday boy's presence in the enormous hall. He kept his eyes low, hoping he wouldn't end up in Shane's sight line. Unfortunately... "Here he is, Shane!" A mocking male voice dictated. Jasper covered his face, looked aside, walked fast, and disappeared into the crowd. "I think he moved on. I haven't seen him for a week." His friends Kade and Ford calculated the yearning in Shane's declaration. "Oooo... When did he steal your heart?" Their friend teased him, cracking up with a laugh. "Not like that! I just-" "Birthday girl has arrived!" The person who had Mick announce that. "Girl?" Jasper was confused. Everyone in the party hall flashed the exact reaction Jasper gave. An elegant young woman with a beautiful princess dress came along with a handsome-looking man and stood in the center of the stage where the big cake was. "That's Kaison! Who is that beautiful girl beside him?" One of the male students from the crowd wondered. "I think she is his sister, Belle. I heard she was returned from abroad." The crowd rustled with doubt. "I'm thankful for everyone attending my sister's birthday party today, here. This is my sister, Belle. She has transferred to our college and is going to study in the second-year Architecture department. Hope you guys will get along well with my sister." Kaison introduced his sister to everyone politely with a smile. Everyone toasted the drink next to each other, showing gratitude. "Let's cut the cake, Belle," Kaison instructed her, offering a plastic knife while her gaze was on Shane, who was also looking at her, forgetting to blink. "Who is he looking at like this?" Jasper wondered like the crowd and soon collapsed with misery finding its landing on Shane. The most heartbreaking sight was Shane also gazing back at her without even blinking. "Come here," Belle stretched her hand towards Shane, getting hold of the knife her brother had been offered. Envy rent women's face when Shane accepted her offer by grasping her hand. He jumped up on the stage and held the knife together before cutting the cake. Some clapped happily while some scattered jealousy at their closeness, faking the clap. Jasper got swallowed by the darkness when both Belle and Shane smiled at each other. Belle shared her first bite with Shane while Kaison stood beside them like an abandoned one. She then offered a second bite to his brother and sowed the smile back. "Look at that Jasper face!" Ford pointed out Jasper's crestfallen look. Kade shed sympathy unlike Ford, who was laughing at Jasper. Kade then looked up at Shane, smiling with Belle. "He is losing gold for the diamond." He mumbled, feeling sad for Jasper. Kade stepped forward, looking at Jasper running outside. "Brother, Kade!" Belle called and stopped him. Belle came down and greeted them one by one with her pretty smile. "One minute," Kade excused himself and went outside looking for Jasper. "Shane, introduce me to your friends." Belle flirted decently. "I have no friends," Shane replied shortly, his eyes browsed the hall for something. "Are you looking for Jasper?" Ford's interrogation earned his death stare. "Jasper? Is he your friend?" Belle stuck out curiously immediately. "We can say it like that too!" Ford roasted Shane, grinning. "Introduce me to him, Shane! Please..." Belle blazed the bargain. Shane sighed and asserted, "He isn't my friend." "Yes! He is his boyfriend." Fork didn't get tired of teasing Shane. "Aish!" Shane gritted his teeth, annoyed, and raised his hand to hit him. "What are you saying?" Skepticism sat on her face with sudden sorrow. "Don't listen to him!" Kaison distracted her, giving hope. "Jasper?" Kade approached Jasper, who was staring at the full moon, which was illuminating the night sky along with stars. Jasper wiped his tears and forced a slight smile before looking back at Kade. "You will catch a cold," said Kade. He offered his jacket. Jasper pushed it, saying, "I'm okay, senior." "You aren't okay." Kade forcefully put his jacket on him kindly. "What are you doing here with him, Kade?" A deep, rude, raging voice earned their attention. Jasper was shocked; glimpsing it was Shane. "I'm taking care of our junior," Kade responded. His voice secretly revealed his madness. Shane wasn't stupid; he was blind to it. So he glared at Kade, asking directly, "Are you developing feelings for him?" Jasper blinked in conflict as Kade purposely refused to reply. "No! Senior Shane. He just offered me a jacket. There was nothing between us." Jasper tried to explain the reason behind Kade's presence once after observing Shane's glare at Kade, which was looking like he was about to cut off Kade's friendship just because Kade showed some kindness towards him. "What if I said it is?" Kade questioned back courageously, aghast from Jasper, instantly while Shane released a shallow breath, flashing a furious glare.Aaron pulled the car to the side of the road, got out, slamming the door shut, and walked furiously towards Kaisen, emerging from the car after pulling the car to the side hurriedly.Aaron gripped the collar and tugged him closer to his furious face. "Why the hell are you chasing after me? Didn't you say you were going to give up on me?!? He shrilled, a gust of possessiveness flared through his nose.Kaisen was too stunned to speak. All he could do was admire the rough way that Aaron reacted."Answer me!" Aaron toughened his glare, clenching his jaw."May I pursue you?" He requested gently, switching his voice to the softest. That unhurriedly extinguished the fume in his eyes, causing the grip to go lax. He sighed, dropped that hand, whirled around, and breathed out the anger from his heart.Kaisen stepped further forward and carried his lips closer to Aaron. His warm breath flew onto Aaron's ear, causing him to turn around in astonishment."What are you doing?!" Aaron yelled, increas
Jasper huffed, piercing a glare of fury at the car window.Kade then uncuffed his hand. But kept hooking his eyes on it.He then dropped him off at his house and went to mind his business. At the restaurant, Aaron arose and struck his feet to leave the desk instantly after glimpsing Kaisen's presence.Kaisen gripped Aaron's wrist and stopped him. "Give me a minute, please."Aaron could perceive the amount of yearning in his tone. That forced him to spare some time for him. So he sat back but adamantly kept his gaze on the desk while Kaisen desperately wanted his attention."I'm sorry for having feelings for you," Kaisen spoke with a heavy heart.Aaron's brows knitted together, baffled. Not to delay, he carried his gaze straight to meet him."I admit that I fell for you at first sight. I'm sorry for that. If my feelings are the reason for you to avoid me, I won't disturb you anymore. But please make things clear; I don't want to be stressed like this. I can't even eat and sleep. If you
Kade spotted the threat in Fork's eyes as he forewarned, "Just give up already. He is in love with Shane. Don't ruin our friendship because of him.""You will know when you fall for someone. It's not as easy as you say." Kade echoed the misery, seemingly dreary.Shane dialed Jasper and asked, "Is your brother in the house?"Jasper locked the main door and went into his room alone, responding, "Yes.""Oh, okay. Let's see later, then. Sleep tight, don't think about anything. Bye." Shane voiced disappointment, hanging up.Jasper lay down to relax, but recalling Kade's aggressive reaction to that incident didn't let him sleep peacefully."Kade!" Kaisen entered Kade's room right after Kade closed his eyes to fall asleep."What now?" Kade darted with wrinkled brows.Fork startled and showed the direction, "It's not me! Look there!""It's me, Kade. Could you please help me with something? Please..." Kaisen approached him, pleading."About Jasper's brother?""Yes."Kaisen dropped his buttocks
The afternoon sun scorched the city; Kade stood up, leaving a sigh of tiredness. Then he asked Jasper, "What do you want for lunch?"Jasper rolled his eyes at Shane. Kade noticed that.Shane glared, envious."No! I'm not hungry." Jasper replied.Kade's anger turned to Shane. "If you don't want me to buy for him, you do it. Stop controlling him, Shane!" He raised his voice in mad."Fine! I will go." Shane came to his feet but was frozen, locking his eyes on Kade in realization."What?" Kade glared, confused. Slightly uncomfortable with his stare.Shane dragged him along, saying, "Let's go together!""Who will look after him if I leave too?" Kade stopped his feet from following Shane."Bodyguards will do!" Shane asserted, dragging him. This time, he forcefully didn't allow him to pause for a query.Kaisen was alone in his villa, burying a sullen look at the floor as his thoughts were filled with longing for Aaron.Fork barged in, startling Jasper. "Kade! Shane!"Fork's rushingly wanderi
Kade stepped backward, visibly scattered, sensing Jasper's heart emitting the empathy. The thing that caused him to withdraw wasn't exactly that. It was Jasper's frown that reflected the aversion to his proximity."Jasper!" Shane strode towards him, his face flushed with anger.Kade sighed and turned to walk away. But Shane gripped his hand and stopped him.Kade kept his eyes down as if he had made a mistake."Shane," Jasper shot the conflict of Shane's vicious grip on Kade's."Why did you do that?!" Shane snarled.Kade looked away instead.Jasper was clueless and also curious: "What did he do?""He doesn't know it yet," Kade profounded."Do you think that will protect him?" Shane's roar surged, and his eyes snapped with anger."What exactly happened? Why do you all keep it from me?!" Jasper rebelled.Kade escaped his hand from his grip instantly.Shane flashed the wrath, revealing loudly, "Someone took your photo of being together in the same bathroom with Kade and posted it on the c
Jasper twirled and stood facing him with a firm look. "Because you are forcing me to love someone I don't want to be with!" He retorted bitterly.Aaron remained unanswered, letting him do as he wished.Jasper left, abandoning his dearest brother for Shane, having no idea of the impact that was napping inside his body ever since he got touched by Kade.Once he reached the dorm, the first sight he got was Kade's nerve-popping hand that was smacking someone's face aggressively who looked older than him.He gasped in disbelief and was confused about the students who were just watching that without doing anything. That man was bleeding from his nose and mouth corner and seemed like he was going to faint in a moment. Yet Kade's anger didn't simmer.Fork sprinted from his room and halted right by the dorm entrance, witnessing the amount of fury Kade's glaring eyes were holding onto."Kade!" Jasper shouted his lungs out.Only then did Kade stop, and right away, too. Wrath of breath caused him
