The lights peeped through the opened windows causing Alysia to groan at the intrusion. She wasn’t ready to wake up yet, but she couldn’t remain asleep when the light seemed like it wanted to blind her.

She blinked awake slowly, her lids heavy, and her body a dull ache of tiredness and a reminder of where she was.

She stretched on the small hospital bed and when she turned her head, she found Damon by her side again.

He refused to go home to rest even after she assured him many times that she was okay now.

His elbows were resting on his knees, his hair a tangled mess and his eyes closed while lodged in his hands. Her heart clenched at the sight of him. She didn’t like that he was uncomfortable just because he wanted to stay close to her.

But he wouldn’t agree to leave even if she tried to convince him and it made her sad but she had given up on trying to make him leave so he could rest.

“Damon?” Her voice came out hoarse, but it was enough to pull him from his shallow rest.

  • Alphas Hybrid Luna   Chapter 110 More packs are joining the rogue king

Alysia's POVThe mood in the air was gloomy, and I wasn't sure anything could be done about it. In case like these, only a miracle could help, but a small part of me just knew that it wasn't possible. The moon goddess was benevolent, but I didn't think he'd branches extended to bringing back the dead to life. Once someone was dead, that was the end of the road for them, and even though it hurt, it was a painful pill for everyone in the pack to swallow, me included. No one saw this coming, that a day would come where the pack would be mourning their alpha. Alpha Jayden was loved by many, so it was only normal that people would come out to mourn. It'd been a couple of days since his death, and the atmosphere in the pack was nothing to write home about.Gloom clung to each part of the place, and you could see it in the other pack members and how they reacted. Their morale to work was incredibly low, and it didn't help that nothing I did looked to be working.Like that wasn't traumatizing

  • Alphas Hybrid Luna   Chapter 109 Anna, his sister

Alysia’s POVIt was a long ass day, and while I wanted what was left of it to come to an end already, I knew deep down it couldn't be that easy. There was so much to do, and so little time, and it hurt so much thinking about it. In fact, the more I tried to not think about it, the more it haunted my thoughts. It didn't make any sense, and it didn't help either that no matter how hard I tried to put two and two together, nothing could excuse the fact that we'd let it slip through our fingers.Despite all the security and what not, someone had managed to break through our defenses, and attacked us from the inside. We had a traitor in our midst and the mere thought of it was nauseating to say the least.A small sigh slid past my lips. As I pinched the bridge of my nose, an idea came to mind. There was no need sulking about the traitor now. I hated to be the bearer of bad news, but what's happened had happened already, and the best thing to do moving forward would be to figure out who the

  • Alphas Hybrid Luna   Chapter 107 Find a way to go back

ALYSIAEverything felt cold. It was the kind of cold that seeped into your bones and wanted to make your curl into yourself because it felt painful. And the silence. It was terrifying and it didn’t help that I couldn’t see anything.I felt lost. Was I dead? The thought struck me with fear and I shook my head violently to dispel that thought. I couldn’t leave Damon. The darkness was scary, and it was everywhere. It wrapped around me as whispers of doubt and fears fell into my ears. I couldn’t tell where I was. I didn’t know where the darkness started or where it ended.I tried to move at first, but my body wouldn’t cooperate.“Hello?” I spoke and my voice echoed in the dark, the sound distant and hollow “Is anyone there?”A flicker of light appeared before me. It had a soft and solver glow to it as it pulsed gently. Drawn to the light and the glimmer of hope that bloomed in my chest. I reached for it.The light was warm as I reached for it and soon, I felt myself waking up again. My ey

  • Alphas Hybrid Luna   Chapter 106 Help her

Damon notices that Alysia had gone quiet and when he turned, he notices that she was struggling to breath, and her wolf form was trembling.“Aly?” he whispered through their mind link “What is wrong? You’ve gone pale” his voice was laced with concern as he searched her face.“Alysia” Damon spoke with a firmer voice when she only looked at him with glossy eyes. His concern was spiking, and she was not helping by being close to tears “Tell me what happened. Is it what I said?”Alysia looked at him, her heart clenched with worry. How was she going to say those words to him. She didn’t know how to.“Damon” she started, swallowing hard as a tear drop slide down her face “Your parents. Charles said they found them”Damon’s face lit up with fragile relief while Alysia’s heart crumbled at the hope on his face.He was on his feet, a smile that would soon disappear plastered on his relieved features “They’ve been found? Where are they?”He was ready to run to them and tell them how much he was

  • Alphas Hybrid Luna   Chapter 105 Should I tell him

ALYSIA“Juliana?” I whispered and removed the phone from my ears to stare at it. The call had disconnected.“No, no, no” I whispered frantically as my hand skimmed over the phone, dialing the number again “Please answer the phone” I begged as the phone began to ring.Once. Twice. Three times. The call disconnected without an answer.“Come on, come on… please, Julianna, answer the call” I tried again, holding the phone so tightly my knuckles turned white, but the phone went unanswered. My phone closed up with fear. I scrambled to my feet. I could feel my ears ringing with the intense terror I felt.“Damon” I whispered “I have to tell him. I have to know where he is”“Damon, if you can hear me please answer me” I begged into the mind link but there was a wall up. Damon had shut me out and I couldn’t get to him.“Damon, please. If you can hear me, at least just give me a signal that you are there” I begged but it was useless as silence greeted me.I threw my phone to the floor, the loud
