Violet's POV

It was Ezekiel's fourth day in the pack. Only three days remained before Sebastian returned to take back leadership of the wolves. A sense of relief ran down my spine at the thought.

I walked back to my office to resume work for the day when it struck me that I hadn’t spoken to Simon since last night, when Ezekiel called me his mate.

I couldn’t afford to lose my second chance mate this way. I had to find a way to twist things until he believed in us again.

As I flipped through the files, I saw the complaints from the farmers and realized I had never given them feedback. That memory brought back the image of leaving my daughter in Ezekiel’s office yesterday.

I pulled out the feedback letter, intending to finish that task first. But just then, that familiar scent filled my nostrils, forcing my eyes shut as I breathed it in deeply. When I looked up, Simon was standing there.

Didn’t he ever listen to instructions? Or was he here on his own mission?

“Simon, hey,” I greet

  • Alphas obsession: beg for your mate    The wolf tree

Violet's POV"Do you think it's so easy to save the lives of hundreds of wolves?" A voice suddenly invaded the air as everyone turned their attention to the direction it came from.It was Daniel and Fred. They were in black clothing, and their entourage was heavily armed."Hey Dan, it's been a long time," Jeremy waved at him from a distance, and both of them came to the stage to pay their respect to Jeremy. They didn't quite expect to see him alive and bouncing, and their pride was lowered in the realization of the marvelous wonder of the magic Jeremy claimed was in the air."These are my old friends, and both of them will work as my Beta. Gammas have to be innocent, and I doubt if my friends here are innocent," Jeremy said, and the crowd laughed along with him."Glad to see you again." Fred asked for a handshake, which I hesitated to give. It was Jeremy's eye contact that prompted me to receive the handshake. Perhaps he hadn't heard of what he did to make me secure freedom in the pac

  • Alphas obsession: beg for your mate    The blood of the costal men

Violet's POV"Are the wolves going into slavery?" I asked Jeremy as we lay on the rooftop of the same room we came out of. We needed to understand what was going on in our surroundings."I think so. The men of the coastal region know that their ruler is not around," Jeremy quietly replied."What do we do now? We can't let these men take our wolves away. Where the hell is Kira?""Kira?" Jeremy asked and laughed softly. "Kira is the most irresponsible woman I've ever come across.""Stay here and watch what happens," Jeremy said all of a sudden and jumped down, his feet making a loud thud on the ground. He ran as fast as he could before the men could open fire on him, and I couldn't wait there on the rooftop as they'd begun searching everywhere for those that were still alive and free.I followed Jeremy's scent and saw him walk into the Luna quarters. I slipped into the quarters as well and gently ran after him, but the noise that rose in the air didn't make him suspect that I was coming

  • Alphas obsession: beg for your mate    The witches illusion

Ezekiel's POV"I've never heard of hunters trying to kill werewolves. Are you sure you're sane?" I turned to ask the man, and he gave a slow nod."I'm an Alpha wolf, not your usual Beta wolf. Let's fight them and run away from this weird environment," I suggested, and a loud knock came on the door suddenly, causing our bodies to shudder reflexively."I sense the presence of wolves in this room. Break the door and kill whoever is inside," I heard the voice of a man, and while we tried to escape through the windows, we quickly realized that the room didn't have any.Fear filled my mind as I walked toward the door while the man hid under the large bed. I checked through the peephole of the wooden door, and our eyes met. They were really hunters. I saw a group mark on their foreheads and the brutality in their faces. I leaned on the door and remained silent to stay safe. For what felt like half an hour, I didn't hear a word from them. I was partly convinced they were gone until a gunshot

  • Alphas obsession: beg for your mate    Ghost and shadows

Violet's POV"Do I now have the ability to see ghosts?" I asked myself as I ran out of the room."Come inside. The men in black may be lurking around," Jeremy said, and the voice sent chills down my spine.I just left the emergency clinic where he was admitted. How did he manage to escape from the place?A regular coma patient would be in bed for three months at least, but Jeremy had been in bed for just a month. The medical team didn’t let him go; he must have walked out himself. How he did that was what sent chills down my spine, and I couldn’t wrap it around my head."I'm being serious, love. Come inside the room. We have to be safe," he said, standing by the doorway. My heart began to beat fast as I looked around and quickly realized that there was no one who could save me from this mess, nor was there anyone who truly cared about my existence.I ran back into the room and knelt down, pleading with him in a shaky voice. "I know this is not Jeremy. He is still on the sickbed. So te

  • Alphas obsession: beg for your mate    The wolves of war

Violet's POV"Who are those men in black?" my wolf asked. It has been a long while since she spoke with me, indicating how important this discussion was."I have no idea. I can't even get in, so I don't care what happens," I replied to her quickly."I think they are from the coastal region. They are here to take down the wolves of this pack. Ensure they don't get inside the packhouse," my wolf said to me again."I was literally banished from the same pack where I once ruled as the Luna, and you expect me to help them out?" I couldn't believe what my wolf was saying to me."You wouldn't want to return to your former pack, would you?" she asked."Sebastian's pack?""Yes. Would you?""I think yes. Being in this pack has been nothing but extreme stress, from trying to please the Alpha to watching my friends die to getting banished. I'm sick of everyone, and I have to run away from this environment," I said to my wolf, but she wasn't willing to follow up on the suggested idea.A bloodcurdl

  • Alphas obsession: beg for your mate    Lost wolf

Ezekiel's POVThe loud sound of a bottle shattering on the walls jolted me out of my deep sleep. I stood up quickly, glaring at every corner to have an inkling of where I was.The interior designs suggested that I might be in a clubhouse or a bar.Scoffing slightly, I walked toward the entrance, but I didn't find anyone to question. It took several minutes before I noticed someone trying to cross to the other side of the road in the distance.I ran as fast as my legs could carry me and reached him before he could cross over to the other side of the road. There was confusion on his face as he stepped back before attending to me."I don't know where this place is. Can you please tell me?" I asked, stepping back myself to show innocence and positive signs of sanity."I think you're drunk. I don't talk to drunk people," he said and was about to cross when he heard the low growls coming from behind. With intense fear instilled in his mind, he gently turned around to take a look, and he saw
