A week later…..

Today, I have an appointment with my gynecologist. It's a rescheduled appointment because I have been so busy tending to orders at the bakery. The constant referrals pouring in after delivering Mrs Jones's granddaughter's birthday cake has been overwhelming.

Some clients would insist that I single-handedly bake it myself while some don't care who bakes and decorates the cake as long as it comes from my bakery. Thankfully we have Charles in our midst now and I couldn't be more grateful.

He joined a few days back and I would say he's exceptionally good at what he does. Scarlett wasn't wrong about him a bit, he was able to get along with the girls, especially Evelyn. One would think it was the same day I employed them.

I arrived at the hospital, this wasn't your typical overcrowded hospital swarming with patients. It's a private hospital and it's quite expensive- the decor was sleek and modern and their staff was friendly and attentive.
