Chapter 46

Alpha Baron's POV

Wrapping my hands tightly around myself, I continued pacing around my office. I had been doing this since I returned here and I don't think I was going to stop anytime soon.

Tomorrow was the mating ceremony between me and Raven and there was no way I could escape it.

All tactics that I had thought would be able to pull me out of this mess turned out to be useless and were mocking me in my face.

“Naomi, you should have come with me and then I wouldn't have been in this mess.” I muttered, digging my hands into my hair and then pulling them out, not minding the pains that I was inflicting on myself.

Now resting against the wall, I bit my bottom lips and then let out a low sigh as I stared hard at the door.

For more than ten minutes now, I have been waiting for Richard to return with a response from Beta William. I had begged that the mating ceremony would be extended but knowing fully well that he wouldn't attend to me, I had to use Richard instead.

A few minutes later,
