“You may come in.” I spoked in a loud voice so the person behind the door could hear me only to remember right away that was impolite. “A princess never raises her voice above a whisper.” That’s how I was instructed at the boarding school. The door opens and reveals a maid. “Milady, they are expecting you for breakfast.” The maid showed a low courtesy and waited for a response but I wasn't sure what to say.

I’m supposed to comply whenever I’m summoned to family reunions and other meetings that require my attendance.
