Former Luna Minerva POV

A sudden commotion takes over the courtroom. The flashes of cameras are blinding me. I hear the reporters asking questions and wanting to interview me for what I’m assuming is the news of the moment. The security guards struggle with them, I don’t feel threatened, I know they won’t allow the reporters to get near me.

“Order, order.” The judge calls out. “This is a private matter, we’ll have to take a recess. Escort Lord Von Thiessen back to his cell.”

For the first time in my life I want the earth to open and swallow me whole.
