Epilogue One

Viviane POV

This big round belly is so heavy that I wished for the babies to keep growing but outside the womb. Selene heard my prayers because the Females Beta and I were having a big gender reveal party at the packhouse when I started to feel the contractions kicking in. They were happening too close to be ignored and I was rushed to the town's hospital. We had planned for a birth in the city but transportation in my estate is too risky.

As soon as we arrived at the ER I had all the medical staff on me. This is a hospital save for shifters and they were expecting me to rush me in the labor room the moment I came through the door. What I thought was going to be a smooth birth has turned into a few hours of continuous tight constractions.

“Ugh! Fuck, this hurst! How close I’m I? I fucking feel drained already and these babies don’t seem to want to come out.” I cursed agitated between pants of air. I’m a mess of sweat and tears. Strands of sticky hair are plastered over my forehead.
