Yoon's Mansion

“Eldest brother, I'm here”

Yillan said, while knocking at the door of the mansion.

"Come in.”

Her brother replied. He was standing near the window inside.

“What are your plans brother? If this situation drags on, you will likely go to prison. The slush fund, do you already know about it?”

“A year ago father made some mistakes and I already anticipated this coming but, it's just too soon to happen.”

“Then what should we do now, should we tell the old masters?”

“For now, we don't have to tell them. Father just had surgery recently and is recuperating. I can't tell him this news.”

“How can I help my brother?”

“Let me handle this, for now. I know you already guessed why we are in this situation, but we can't escape this time. Sooner or later I have to face it. I already had a plan. You just stay put, I'll let you know if I need you, just stay at my back and support me for now okay?”

“I understand brother.”

“Don't go back to the company, Secretary Yen will be there. Just stay at home and rest, I have to go somewhere.”

Zai's Office 

“This is not good for them. If Yoon Corporation goes down it may have a big effect on our industry.”

Louie commented while watching the news.

“Slush funds and embezzlement is just a normal issue in every company, but their case seems to be causing a big issue.”

“Yeah, that's right, something's not normal. It seems like someone is behind it and this is not as simple as it seems. 

 Zai added while tapping his hands on the table.

“Do you think we should do something?”

 Louie’s eyes turned to Zai.

“What should we do?”

 Zai replied with a cold stare.

“Ah, I was just saying, you know.”

He said while scratching his head. 

“Not for now. We have to wait.”

 Zai coldly answered.

Back at Yoon's Mansion

“What are you doing dear? You’ve been sitting here facing your computer for an hour. Here, drink some juice.”

“Thank you, Auntie Tess. I just wanna do something to help my brother. I can't just do nothing.”

“Your brother knows it, you are the only one by his side helping him all these years. Just trust your brother okay! everything will be okay, dear.”

Lee's Mansion: Lunchtime

“Mother, is Zai coming for lunch?”

 Aya asked.

“He sent me a message. He’s coming, he will probably arrive any minute now.”

“Okay, mom! I will prepare the table and food.”

Ding Dong! Ding Dong!

“Uncle Zai!”

Troy ran towards Zai.

“Hello, little guy!”

 Zai pats Troy’s head and carries him.

“Hi, Mom!”

He kissed his mom, then put Troy in the chair beside him.

“Hmmm, I miss your cooking Sister!”

“You should come home often so you can eat proper meals!”

Aya scolded him.

“Uh, you shouldn't mention it.” 

Zai smiled brightly

“Hmm…He's always busy with work at the company, he should have time for himself and time to date, right my child?”

“Here we go again, Mom!”

Zai just laughed.

“Let's eat okay? I'm really hungry!”

Then they ate together happily while chatting.

After Lunch at the Sala.

“Do you want coffee or tea, Zai?”

  

Aya asked him.

“Just tea, please.”

“I heard the news about the Yoon's, this is something big. We’re not so close but Tao is one of my and your father’s long-time friends, also his eldest son was your brother’s close friend. It's just sad news to hear.”

Zai’s mother said.

“Uncle Tao and most of his family are in Paris. Only Aion is managing the company. How can he handle it alone? I heard that the last few years the company is doing well, and these things suddenly happened, it's a big burden for him.

Laura added, sounding a little bit worried.

“Don't worry mother I'll look at it. I'll see what I can do.”

While inside his car, Zai’s phone suddenly rang.

“Yes, Louie?”

“Zai, the President of Yoon Corporation is here at the company and wants to meet you. What should I do?”

“Please bring him to "The Place". I will meet you there, it's not appropriate to talk about it in the office.”

“Okay, I got it, Boss!”

Louie said, before ending the call.

“Driver Yang, let's turn around to the place.”

“Okay, sir!”

Driver Yang responded and changed their route.

The Place (VIP room)

“He's inside Zai waiting for you.”

“You go back to the office, with driver Yang.”

“Your key! I'll drive your car back.”

Zai opened his hands.

“Okay!” 

Louie replied while hand gesturing the ok sign.

VIP room

“President Yoon!”

“CEO Lee! Hello.”

They both shook each other’s hands.

“Please sit, what would you like? Tea or coffee?

“Just tea, CEO Lee”

“Ok then, tea also for me.”

“Zai said to the waitress waiting at the side.”

“Ok, sir.”

She then left the room.

There was silence for a while, then the waitress brought in their tea, and served them before she left the room.

“What would you like to talk about President Yoon?”

 Zai asked while casually sipping his tea.”

“Why do you want to see me? I heard your matters on the news.”

Aion placed his tea down, and started talking…

“Then I’ll just go straight to the point of my purpose here. Please help us, CEO Lee.”

He said with a pleading tone.

“I know you already know, our company matters is as bad as it is. In this situation, we can't possibly go through with, without your help.”

“Then tell me President Yoon why would I help you?”

He replied with a cold tone.

“A year ago after I took over the company, I found out about the mistake father made, and how they created a slush fund. I tried my best to keep it while finding a solution, and I know that someday it will resurface and create a problem, I didn't realize it will be this soon.”

“Your company matters created bigger concerns in our industry. It made every company warry. I'll be bold and ask you. Who did you offend, that this issue was put on a large scale, President Yoon?

“You stand up to your reputation, CEO Lee. Your brother will be really proud of you!”

“I made some initial investigation about your case and something is fishy about it/ That's why I asked you.”

“You already noticed that maybe someone is manipulating this.”

“Then tell me all the details, only then you will know my answer.”

Back at Yoon's Mansion

“Young master, welcome home. Are you hungry? Should I tell them to get your dinner ready?

“Later Auntie Tess, please tell Yillan I want to talk to her in the study.”

“Okay, young master!”

Study room

Knock! Knock!

“Come in Yillan, please sit.”

“Do you want tea brother?”

“No, just sit down. I have something important to tell you.”

He said in a serious tone.

“Okay, brother.”

She replied as she sat on the seat in front of him.

“Our problem, I have found a solution but it depends on you on how will this be in motion.”

“What is it brother and why is it related to me?” 

She asked nervously.

“Lee Empire will help us, I made a contract with them. Our company will be under their management. They are our only and best option for this moment, only they can and has the power to help us to go through this situation without losing the company.”

“What is their condition brother?”

“First, I will take all the responsibilities for the slush fund and accept all the charges in the case. I will likely be sentenced to prison for 6-8 months.”

“What! But brother, what will happen to the company if you’re going to prison!”

“That is when the Lee Empire will enter. Our company will be merged with them and we will be under their wing, all the management rights will fall to them. The management and all the employees will remain, only they will supervise us. It's not a bad deal for us, it will also help us grow, this merger is for our benefit. If all in the industry will know this, our stocks and shares will increase and the board will not be worried anymore. Everything will be alright.”

“I see your point brother, but what is the second condition?”

“That is you!”

“Yes, the second condition is the security of the deal, their assurance that we will comply and follow the contract with them. You have to marry Zairo Lee.”
