Amelia was so scared at what happened in front of her that her brain shut down. Her skin became clammy and cold sweat glistened on her forehead. Her eyes became wide like a football field. Was she was trapped in a nightmare? Was her mind playing games with her? A man just got consumed in the flames and instead of burning to ashes as a normal person would, as what she had studied in her college he disappeared. It was bizarre.
She got up on her feet. She was so shaky that she didn’t know how to control the shiver of her body. Tears ran out of her eyes. If this man was the demon king, then he won’t leave her alone.
